Very simple and outdated facilities, especially sanitary. The "restaurant" and "shop" were always closed during our week-long stay. The condition and tidiness of the permanent camper pitches... are actually unacceptable. There is obviously a lack of stricter management, despite many written instructions, which hardly anyone seems to adhere to. The site itself makes an orderly impression, the very old sanitary facilities were never really clean. The reasonable price is appropriate in terms of performance and condition. Karl Heinz H.July 2016Dobre straneReasonably pricedNegativne straneLoud, dirty, dogs not welcome.Not ideal for dog owners, cleanliness of sanitary facilities could be improvedWe (an elderly couple with 2 small dogs) visited the site at the beginning of July. The location and pitches are OK. We were disturbed by the sometimes quite dirty sanitary facilities as well as the dishwasher and washing machine room. The sinks were extremely dirty. On the front of the washing machines... there were still the same dried dirt residues and dirt splashes on the 10th day. The staff were generally friendly. However, the site owner warned us on the 2nd day that we should not take our dogs for a walk on the site if possible. He was not impressed by the plastic bags I immediately showed him to remove a possible "little mark", as just "lifting a leg" would cause other dogs to do the same at this spot. We were told to go to a field about 300 meters away in the blazing sun. After 10 days, I paid €40 for the two dogs without having received anything recognizable in return. A dog meadow or dog shower would have been nice. A dog is obviously only tolerated because of the €2 a day, but is not welcome. We would not have expected this at a riding stables. The place is quiet, but it disturbed the almost constantly in use lawn tractor and the hammering, drilling and sawing on the permanent pitch directly behind the hedge next to our pitch. The price/performance ratio is good. The restaurant is only open occasionally. We were only there once. The food frightened us and prevented us from visiting again. I found the reception to be very friendly. The meadow was in good condition and the sanitary facilities were clean and tidy. The small store didn't have many products, but the essentials were there. Motorcycles could be parked next to the tent. For me, as a camper with a tent, not exactly what I had hoped for from the presentation on the campsite's homepage. Angela T.October 2012We have been to the Schurrenhof campsite several times and have never encountered any unfriendly staff. Even in the low season, when the Schurrenhof high-altitude restaurant and the associated kiosk are not open every day, we have had our pre-ordered bread rolls brought to the caravan every morning. The combination with an Icelandic horse stud makes it particularly suitable for families with older children and youth groups on riding vacations. Very friendly and courteous staff! I.e. no restaurant, no possibility to buy bread rolls or similar on site. Sanitary facilities very old and partly dirty. You have to use toilet paper to dry your... hands. Paths not swept, garbage containers overflowed. Nearest shopping facilities only accessible by car, which is very bad for motorhome travelers. Staff sometimes difficult to find and not always friendly. Apart from the leisure park next to the campsite (everything costs extra), there is nothing for older children unless they are interested in horses.Automatski prevedeno.
