"Team campsite Seespitz - Uncomplicated booking, Unfortunately, I was unable to travel because we were affected by flood water ourselves and I was tied up with the fire department. We helped people who were facing existential ruin and were housed in emergency accommodation. A request for reimbursement of the €152 paid was denied with the remark that all vacationers must be treated equally. The remaining amount to be paid was not requested. 152€ cancellation fee for a mail is a cheek.

"Camping Sennalpe - When the season is full it gets crowded, but there are many possibilities for excursions on foot or by bike! Sanitary facilities are ok! The reception is also really keen to offer space.

"Camping Seespitze - Smaller site with some very nice pitches with lake views. However, the majority are reserved for permanent campers. The eastern part offers very large pitches, there is privacy here, above the buildings it is a little more cramped. There is also a kiosk with good food. The sanitary area is good, except for the 3 showers which can be used by "all" genders, despite being informed twice, there are neither shelves nor coat hooks. We were certainly not the first to complain about this. Reutte is about 5 km away if you want to do a little shopping. There is a bread roll service on site with high prices, well, they have to be delivered and packed! However, the pricing for dogs is completely outrageous, they cost 1 € less per day than an adult, but get nothing in return except a poop bag at the start of the hiking trail. In summary, a good place with room for improvement!

"Unfortunately, they want to become ordinary - In our opinion, what made the place so special was that it was quiet and tranquil (apart from the motorcycles that drive up and down the serpentines day and night with a loud roar... and that echoes so beautifully in this mountain basin. The ever-growing community of divers, which now occupies most of the sunbathing area, didn't really bother us either. But what really bothers us is the new person in charge of the campsite... the things he has already built and still wants to build... A pensioner with far too much time on his hands wants to build a monument to himself and plans and plans and plans... Until he destroys the last place spared from mass tourism. It won't be too much longer and then there will be water slides and roaring entertainers - and then the uniqueness, the last refuge for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet, will be over. Why is it always necessary to prepare everything for the masses? The place is always fully booked - they can't accommodate any more guests! So why spend a lot of money to destroy it? And why have one-way street signs everywhere that nobody follows anyway? It would be better to have "sleeping policemen" so that people with caravans or motorhomes don't speed across the site at 50km/h, but the employees do that with their tractors too - mainly at lunchtime, when the roads are so nice and empty - except maybe a few children playing

"Sennalpe: Place in a fantastic location - friendliness can be found elsewhere - Fantastic bathing place, large sunbathing lawn, but pitches partly uneven and crooked, friendliness at reception and kiosk scarce ... :-( WLAN free of charge .... but connection (stroke of luck) and speed leave a lot to be desired :(

"Camping Sennalpe in a unique location - Campsite is located directly in a quiet location on the Plansee, pitches are mostly very tightly occupied, larger pitches are those at the recycling house - from no. 51, new wash house, kiosk overpriced, beautiful hikes possible from the campsite, good food at the Musteralpe, friendly staff at the registration desk in the Hotel Forelle

The two connected campsites Sennalpe (at the north-eastern shore) and Seespitz (at the north-western shore) are located at lake "Plansee", surrounded by unique mountains. It is a place to recover, but there are also other opportunities. It is perfect for …people who like to swim in the crystal-clear water of lake Plansee (drinking water quality) as well as for hikers, mountaineers or people who would like to spend an eventful holiday. Both campsites are spacious and child-friendly. In winter Camping Sennalpe invites you to go on walks, go cross-country skiing, skating, ice-surfing... on the Tyrol´s largest natural sheet of ice. There are lots of lifts and cable-railways for the skiers nearby.
