"A very good campsite, also for relaxing! - We saw the campsite on a short trip and liked it immediately. The owners, both very helpful and super nice. The location and view are unique, very beautiful. The sanitary building is quite new and always clean. In the low season (end of August) no problems with the use, always free showers and toilets. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

"Nice location, tight conditions - Very nice location, great view, unfortunately, although remote, not really quiet. The road is probably audible. Sanitary very clean, not brand new, but sufficient. Restaurant on site. The space conditions in general are very tight, the individual places as well and without parcelling.

"The perfect place for a great vacation - We stayed at the site over the turn of the year and everything was perfect. From the well-prepared reception (quick and without a lot of paperwork) to a great pitch and clean and well-equipped sanitary facilities. Our dog was accepted without any problems and the leisure facilities around the site were more than sufficient for us. Perfect, we will be back. Unfortunately, we couldn't try out the restaurant on site, as it was closed. What we think is a very big advantage of the place, quick ways to the supermarket about 15 minutes and to the town center also 15 minutes.

"for a visit to the Black Forest - We were guests of the Cpl. for a week in June. The site offers every comfort for campers and overall makes a tidy, well-kept impression. The cleaning of the sanitary area should be better organized. Overall, the site is highly recommended. The ACSI-Card is accepted, WLAN costs 2,- Euro per day (f.7 days 6,- Euro)

"Good camping to move into the Black Forest - Great camping to visit in the Black Forest. Public transport are perfect and the bus stop is just a few minutes walk from the campsite. Great to visit the nearby villages, we also went to Titisee (with a combination of buses and trains). The campsite is very clean, in a wonderful location with forest all around. It is very quiet and relaxing. Like many campsites in these areas, it isn't close to any attractions and there isn't much to do in the evening, but at the entrance there is a nice restaurant where you can go for dinner. The owners are kind, but the reception is open only for a few hours in the day and even in these moments you will not always find someone (you will have to call them and they will arrive).

"Pleasantly surprised - This is my very personal opinion. We were on the site a few days before Whitsun 2017 until Whitsunday on terrace 2. A beautiful view, although a little cramped, but that can't be helped as the space on the small ridge is limited. The directly adjacent restaurant "Waldcafe" has a very friendly landlady (from Thuringia) since last year and good food at reasonable prices and normal opening hours until 10 p.m. (Monday and Tuesday closed) The approach through the Glottertal is not particularly difficult and easy to reach from Freiburg. The welcome to the place was friendly and businesslike. We arrived late and they waited for us! We took advantage of the bread roll service as soon as we registered and breakfast the next morning was just as it should be. There is no store on site, but the Edeka supermarket in St. Peter is just a few minutes' walk away. W-Lan for 7 euros (7 days) I found reasonable, but it worked (I don't know why) only with the tablet stable, with the cell phones I was constantly kicked out. At night the pitch lighting is switched off from midnight, which I think is great, because it is totally dark and quiet on the pitch. It's just great to sleep. There are many excursion destinations for which the campsite is centrally located. Freiburg, Kaiserstuhl, Rhine, Feldberg and much more. We noticed that it often rained in the direction of Titisee but the sun still shone on the site (weather divide?). Regional specialties can be found at reasonable prices and very tasty in St. Peter in the Bürgerstüble. The barrier is closed from 12-14 o'clock for lunch. However, the groundsman starts to maintain the site immediately after 2 pm (lawnmower etc.). Personally, I would have liked it better if he hadn't started until 3pm. The sanitary facilities were modern and always top clean if you ignore the fact that some male CP visitors don't know the word "toilet brush" and how to use it. The site itself was always well maintained and occupied by a relatively large number of permanent campers. When it's a nice weekend you can hear many motorcyclists enjoying the Glottertal valley with its many bends (quite fast), which can be a bit annoying. However, when it rains or is dark, the fun is quickly over. There were not many children to be seen. The playground, like the campfire site, is at the very back of the grounds. All in all, a nice place for those seeking peace and quiet. Dogs are also no problem and the well-behaved ones don't make any noise. If we are ever in the area again, we would love to come back!
