"Very nice Camping - no complications - We only use this camping for tent for a couple of days, you have all the good services you need for a family, the guys at the reception are very helpful and flexible. Very nice experience, no complications about closing hours and other stuff as in Germany. We will spend more time next time in this place,

"Ideal campsite for visiting Amsterdam - Ideal place for visiting Amsterdam, the metro station is about 15 minutes away on foot. Friendly welcome at the reception, questions were gladly answered. The sanitary facilities were clean.

"Ideal for a city vacation - Great location, simple but good facilities. Fresh bread rolls are available daily. Metro not far, center quickly accessible. Supermarket (Jumbo) can be reached in 2-3 min by bike. Good price / performance ratio. We will be back!

"Great place very centrally located - We were on an XXL pitch from Saturday to Thursday, including fresh water, waste water and electricity. The small restaurant at the front has great sandwiches, totally delicious burgers and is also very cozy. We booked online, received everything by email and didn't even have to register. We can't judge the sanitary facilities, but they seemed clean when we inspected them. Even if they are getting on in years, that's no reason to give them a bad review. Presumably there are now motorhome drivers who love all-inclusive vacations and are used to other things and have become motorhome drivers due to Covid. (I had to get rid of it) A rating below 4 is definitely not justified.

"Urban campsite in an ideal location - The campsite is located north of the city center in a park-like area. The reception was very friendly and helpful. The pitches are very narrow and sprinkled with wood mulch, so the ground is not muddy even when it rains. The sanitary facilities are adequate and clean, the shower water is free but only lukewarm. The city center can be reached quickly by bike and ferry. It is also quick to get there on foot and by metro. The metro station is about 1 km away. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The well-stocked Jumbo Market on Motorkanaal, approx. 1 km away, deserves a special mention. In addition to sightseeing, excursions to the north of Amsterdam are also worthwhile. The former NSDM shipyard site is being transformed into an in-district. There are also 2 factory halls in which a huge antiques market has found a home. Or a trip by bike (or car) to the Zaandam open-air museum, which is about 17 km away.

We're just a 15 minutes walk to the ferry which takes you to the …heart of the beautiful city of Amsterdam. For a hot shower, you don't need to walk far, there is a well-equipped sanitary, free of charge and also designed for the disabled. Would you like to relax during lunch or hang out together in the evening? Then join one of our covered outdoor communal kitchens. It is the perfect place to recover together from a busy day in Amsterdam. Camping Vliegenbos is situated in the oldest urban forest of the Netherlands.
