There is still some work to be done but we felt comfortable. But I've seen worse.Great for finding peace and quietBeautiful place in the middle of nowhere. We had a pitch in the first row by the river - just a huge meadow (very well-kept!) in front of us, which was very nice. Sometimes a squirrel or even a deer runs in front of the awning. The sanitary facilities are containers, there are individual toilets and... shower/washrooms which are very spacious and each have a shower, toilet and washbasin. There is also a children's bathroom, but we didn't use it.
Depending on where you are, there are also toilet vans, because the walk to the wash house can be unpleasant with a full bladder.
There are two snack vending machines, one with ice cream and one with various drinks and sweets. Of course, this is no substitute for the lack of a supermarket, but it is very practical for spontaneous cravings.

Without a car or bike you are in the middle of nowhere! Not really suitable for children!Traveling with a childHad booked this place spontaneously! Unfortunately my wife fell ill there and we had to leave early! On request to the operator whether he could accommodate us something, came only an empathieloses no. I thought it was a pity, the operator referred to an insurance where you could then handle it!
There... was no electricity at the back of the last toilet containers and therefore only emergency lighting (danger of tripping).
I myself fell on the last evening, because the lighting on the path is partly defective (video available) and you really can't see anything! I told the operator this and he just shrugged his shoulders!
On the subject of reimbursement via insurance, I have to say it doesn't work because the operator doesn't give you a confirmation of departure on the day of departure!
Furthermore, the operator said: "You could have booked by the day!"
It is also advertised that there is no aircraft noise, I can only contradict this. There are sports airplanes flying around all day. And that's not just a few!
I also can't recommend the place for vacationers with children

We were with our dog and tent on the Bulli pitch, whose location, solitude (in a positive sense!) and tranquillity are incomparable. It's a short walk from there to the toilet blocks when you're 'old'. We really liked the sanitary facilities, they really... are something special! Basically, there are many complete bathrooms (washbasin, toilet, shower, bench, heating, window). There are covered outdoor washing areas between the bathrooms. On the Bulli pitch there is a guideline as to how the car and tent should be positioned (not bad, it worked, you were just a bit restricted, which is of course less of an issue with an actual Bulli). The ground probably swallows pegs quite easily, no matter where. We were lucky enough to be right on the edge of the pitch with an old dog and to be able to air it directly there. The disadvantage with an old dog is that the walk is basically over by the time you leave the campsite, where the actual paths start, because it's a very long way to get there. It is also difficult to start the walk directly from the Bulli site as it is very steeply uphill. We would choose the Bulliplatz again at any time.Automatski prevedeno.

The reception was very friendly.
The site is dominated by permanent campers, the pitches for short-term campers are on the Wied. The campers in the 1st row by the river may find it a little difficult to get to their pitches, as there is no clearly recognizable access... road.
Overall, the site is well suited to those seeking relaxation.
The N1 and N4 hiking trails start directly in the forest opposite.
Numerous brochures on leisure activities are available at reception. A hiking map can be purchased for €4.99.
A bread roll service is offered. The local delivery service (Turkish and Italian cuisine) delivers directly to the pitch.
There is a vending machine for small snacks, drinks and ice cream.
The Neuerburg campsite is approx. 30 minutes' walk away. The camping restaurant with beer garden offers numerous schnitzel dishes.
The wash house offers WC and shower with privacy 👍🏼. The heated shower cubicles are large and also equipped with WC and washbasin.
The washing-up area is covered.

I would like to emphasize the concept of the always clean sanitary building.
The shower, washbasin and toilet are all in a separate room. It's a bit like a bathroom.
The approach to the site is a bit of an adventure, as it is a single-lane road with... no alternative route. You have to trust that nothing is coming towards you.
Although we knew that there was neither a kiosk nor a restaurant, a beer garden or similar (perhaps directly on the Wied?) would have been nice.

But that's complaining on a very high level, as we had a very nice pitch. We were tempted by the reviews and the beautiful homepage. Our booking was made four weeks before the vacation but we still got a "parking space" at the entrance parking lot.
Quietly located is a good keyword, because without cell phone network... and internet network, not only is the place in the hole between trees and forests quiet, but also the connection and connection to the surrounding area.
If you like peace and quiet, this site is certainly nice, but after one night we decided to stay at another site 60 km away.

Internet connection a bit weakLovingly maintained campsite in beautiful natural surroundingsBiotopes worth seeing in the immediate vicinity of the site, which the owner has provided with information boards and observation points. You can observe kingfishers and much more. Mr. Wolf can explain a lot if you are interested. There are lots of fun attractions for children to try out, a playground... slide, a ropeway, not a run-of-the-mill playground, but lovingly built by the owner, just as a child would want. It's great that someone still takes time for the children and sees the world through their eyes.
All pitches have their own water supply and drainage and are nicely fenced off with hedges.

The children can easily get into the water there, it is not deep. 2 playgrounds available, new sanitary building, which could not yet be fully used at the time due to Corona.
Very quiet location. No car traffic, as it is at the end of a long cul-de-sac... :). However, access is very narrow, if 2 caravans or motorhomes meet on the way to the site, one must be able to reverse well, they do not fit past each other.
Fresh bread rolls delivered from the bakery to reception every morning, friendly staff.
