Lots of green for walks right next to the campsite. Just cross the dyke and you're on the dog beach. The beautiful promenade with small stores and restaurants is just a few hundred meters away. Very nice opportunities for cycling tours, Grömitz and Dahme just a few kilometers away. The location of the campsite and the friendliness of the host family are highly recommended! We will definitely be back! Distance to the beach/dog beach approx. 200m. Pitches sheltered from the wind by high hedges on the comfort pitches (please bring your own T-pieces for fresh water). Clean toilets and washrooms. Nice operator and staff. Bread roll service only in high season... (alternative bakery 800m away). One negative thing I noticed was the dishwashing kitchen: no waste garbage can, no broom/rubber broom, no plugs for the sinks, hot water is only available via shower chip (must be paid for). I have never had to pay for hot water for washing up on a campsite. The prescribed inspection date for all fire extinguishers on the site has been exceeded by 15 months!!!!! . Urgent need for action! All in all, a beautiful campsite that scores points for its location.Automatski prevedeno.

Ideal for cycling and hikingNegativne straneno food supply, little shadeVacation 04/2019I was at the campsite at the end of April. The site is very busy with permanent campers but still has some nice pitches available for camping enthusiasts. The hedges are half-height and there are hardly any tall trees. The sanitary facilities are clean and in good condition, but you can't wash your dishes... everywhere. There are no bread rolls on site, so you have to go to the nearby supermarket or bakery (approx. 1.5 km away). The reception was only manned on an hourly basis. The campsite is located behind the dune, so it is not far to the bike and hiking trail.Automatski prevedeno.

The operators are usually friendly but very firm. There is a bread roll service on site. Unfortunately, the toilet rolls in the toilets are attached to the wall outside the cubicles - they are almost impossible... for children to reach. There are also only 2 sinks for washing dishes, the hot water for which has to be paid for separately. You also have to pay for hot water in the showers. With a key, which has to be charged at the reception, you can set the hot water to the minute. Unfortunately, the clock continues to run even if you are soaping up and the water is not running. Good connections.Negativne straneThe two owners: obnoxious, irritable, bitchy people who quickly spoil the vacation mood. No winter camping.Unfriendly owners - not possible!If you have a good day and don't say anything that could anger the two owners, you might be treated normally. But the opposite (bitchy and grumpy) is the rule. Unfortunately. But they will (hopefully) retire soon. The campsite itself is in a good location, not far from the Baltic Sea. The rest of the... staff make every effort and are very friendly. Everything else is fine too. No luxury or anything, but the size of the pitch is manageable and thanks to the green hedges everywhere you have peace and quiet (at least on the permanent pitches). The pitches for tents or motorhomes are often right on the road and therefore quite lively. The price for a year of permanent camping is approx. 1450 euros (incl. electricity and water). The sandy beach and promenade are in the immediate vicinity. The sanitary facilities are in good condition and generally clean. The campsite does not have a restaurant/kiosk. However, the nearest bakery (Leckermäulchen) on the promenade is... within walking distance, better by bike. The pier and the open-air swimming pool right by the sea are also within easy reach with a short walk. The campsite is primarily for families with children and senior citizens (with dogs). The price-performance ratio is top, the staff is determined but competent and friendly!Automatski prevedeno.

Otherwise about 90% of the pitches are occupied by permanent campers. The location is excellent, directly behind the dyke and the nearest store is only about 10 min. Walk. And that's it for the positives. The reception... is only manned from time to time and you don't know if and when someone will come. The sanitary facilities could be cleaner and toilet paper in the corridor is a no-go. Most people take too much with them and the rest is scattered on the floor. Hot water is available every minute by key - just soaped up, out of the shower, turn the key - that's annoying!!! There are 2 sinks for washing up. This means you have to wait longer at busy times. Uncomplicated. Price / performance. Good infrastructure.SATISFIEDWE WERE THERE AT THE END OF APRIL 2016! We drove to Kellenhusen with the WOMO at short notice. We called the site shortly beforehand (very nice on the phone) and found a very nice and tastefully designed site on site! Our pitch was separated by a hedge to a large plot. (own drinking water and electricity) WC/shower house clean and well maintained. Friendly welcome at the reception!Automatski prevedeno.

Despite prior reservation by phone the evening before ("Come by, there's space"), they wanted to send us away the next day after a 5-hour drive. The place was full. After a huge fuss, we were allowed to pitch our tent after all. And lo and... behold, there was still plenty of space on the meadow. Little space.Something is squeezed into every corner. No matter how! Many don't stick to any rules, loud as anything. The main thing is that the money comes in. For every little deposit and even showering is charged every minute. Sanitary facilities very dirty, simply disgusting. That's why we went home again!
