Ruben G.September 2024Dobre strane- Offer for children - swimming lake - Digital booking and arrival processNegativne strane- Late check-out only for stays of at least 2 nights - Store and gastronomy expensive - Service mediocreAll right, BUT...We were guests at this campsite (comfort pitch with 100 square meters) for one night with two children and adults in a tent at the beginning of September 2024. The site is generally in a clean and well-kept condition. Fortunately, we were lucky with our neighbors, because the pitches offer little to... no boundaries or planting that could provide cooling shade.
The campsite has a great playground, a bouncy cushion and a great swimming lake with a sufficiently large sandy beach. It is also good that the booking process and check-in can be done completely digitally, so that you can arrive directly at your pitch without hindrance.
We were massively disappointed that the campsite website offers the option of a late check-out and that this offer is also advertised as part of the booking confirmation with an additional PDF file attached. This offer states that you are welcome to contact the staff at reception. Although the comfort pitch we had booked was not occupied for the following night either, we were refused the late check-out option for an additional EUR 13. The reason given for this was that in the past, guests had wanted to use this option too often in connection with just one overnight stay, which is why this option was only available for stays of at least two nights. This information is not communicated on the website or in the booking process. The only alternative we had to be able to spend the great day with the children on the pitch until the early evening was to book an additional overnight stay for EUR 35.
From 8 o'clock in the morning, you can buy baked goods for breakfast in the store at reception. The bathing lake is relatively small and in the best weather totally overcrowded with bathers and SUP boarders....
Dogs are not allowed there.
The "dog beach" on offer turned out to be a "mud hole", a small pond for the dog.
We had our kayak with us and wanted to go to the Hüttensee, which was advertised. There was a place where we were allowed to moor and cast off, but there was an additional €8 charge.
Apart from the fact that the lake is a nature reserve and resembles a forest of signs, and you couldn't paddle properly because of the nature conservation zones.
The kiosk is poorly stocked, there was no fresh food, mini selection of cans, but drinks on mass.
The bread rolls on offer were a cheek, 1 simple "backshop" bread roll for 70ct, and some from the day before.
The restaurant at the bathing lake is expensive (Schnitzel "Jäger Art" with fries 19,90€), self-service from ordering to clearing and wiping the table, and for that you get frozen goods, no matter if schnitzel, pizza etc..
The entire campsite is fenced in!
You can only get onto the site with a QR code, whether on foot or by bike (your license plate number is registered to open the barrier, which is ok). We felt locked up, like in a reservation/ghetto.
A small gate at the registration desk serves as a passageway and with registration and additional bicycles there is hardly any room.
Fortunately, we had a quiet spot and didn't get "soaked" in the rain like some other campers.
Conclusion: The campsite may be ok for families with small children, but for couples and dog owners it is rather limited ok to not ok at all.

Regarding access by bike: The gate to the pitch is almost impossible for a single person with a bike, as the gate does not open independently and is also very difficult to push open. Tried 3 times, 3 times other guests had to help....

There is a small bathing area for dogs. Last year there... was also agility equipment on the site.
There are dog waste bag dispensers all over the site.
The team is very dog-friendly, some of them have dogs themselves.
Dog shower available . also super nice for children . There is a great playground with a large climbing castle, ropeway, various seesaws and an extra area for younger children. Swings, climbing beams and more. Kettcars to borrow, mini golf course, large swimming lake with shallow shore super suitable for younger children. The staff are super nice and helpful everywhere.
The restaurant is also great, there is something for every taste, prices are ok. A sauna and relaxation room have been added last year.
There is also an indoor place for the children in bad weather, they are still rebuilding every year to make the campsite even more beautiful for us guests.
The sanitary facilities are also great, last year showers were free without shower tokens. I don't know how it will be this year, there is a small store for the daily necessities. Pre-order bread rolls for the next day. Gas bottle exchange would like.

We really enjoyed it and would come back any time. :) The sanitary facilities were very well maintained and the adjoining restaurant was also very good. Just like the adjacent lake and the swimming lake on the site. There is also a sauna and a mini golf course on the site. There is also a bread roll service Our pitch was really big, so we had more than enough space with our really large tent and car. If you wanted, you could check in and out contactlessly. Sometimes too many dogs.Beautiful campsiteWe stayed on the site for a week with the caravan and had also rented an Enzo hut.
The pitch was right next to the hut, which was very nice. The site is very well maintained and a paradise for children thanks to the playgrounds and watercourses (small frogs/fish). The bathing lake is beautifully laid... out and we were still able to use it in September thanks to the nice weather.
The sanitary facilities were very well maintained. The restaurant at the campsite is beautifully situated on the lake, where you could enjoy a drink with a lovely view of the lake. We found the food simply too expensive for self-service. It was a pity that in the morning there were only baked rolls, which we could then prepare ourselves.

Checking in and out was easy with the license plate. Reception was not necessary in this case.
I've seen quite a few campsites, but never one with such clean, modern sanitary facilities.... The whole site is also very clean and well maintained. The layout of the pitches is also great. The children's playgrounds were on the other side and therefore far away from us. We were on B205. From 10 pm onwards, everyone kept to the night's rest.
There is a small kiosk where you can get breakfast rolls and the essentials.
You can make good bike tours.
It's a paradise for children. Lots of things to do. Whether the swimming pond, the bouncy castle or the trampoline... Climbing castle.... The kids are busy from morning till night.

We only went to the reception once all week to hire a pedalo. There is a small kiosk with the essentials, but also water toys so... that it doesn't get boring at the lake.
There is plenty for children and also for dogs, you can tell that everyone is really welcome here, and the staff on the site are all friendly and helpful! There is a restaurant and a snack bar with a great lakeside terrace, where dogs are also welcome.
Sanitary facilities were always super clean!

The proximity to nature is great and you really... don't have to leave the campsite unless you want to. We are only ever drawn to the Serengeti Park and the rest of the time we stay at the campsite.

That's why we only went there once.Super campsite - great accommodation Mobilehome XLA super nice campsite that offers everything for young and old. We (a family of 5) had a Mobilhome XL for a week. We wanted for nothing. The beds were good and the equipment in the cabin was perfect. The children spent a lot of time on the playground and in the swimming lake.
The only thing that wasn't... so great was the Seeblick beach bistro. You could see from the glasses how many mouths had already been on them. The food itself was OK but perhaps a little too expensive for a bistro.

But bookings are accepted. The site is visibly undergoing renovation, a lot is... being done, but some areas should not yet be allocated (F) a rain shower and the pitches/paths sink into the mud.
