"In nature! - Ideal campsite for trips to the Harz Mountains. Unfortunately the outdoor pool was being renovated during our stay which meant that 1. it was closed and 2. there was construction noise during the day. But that's not the fault of the operators !!! The sanitary facilities were always clean, but are already a little outdated. Shower cubicles with curtains are no longer up to date in my opinion. It would be welcome that the bath and the restaurant reopen, which will happen in the case of the bath. Surprisingly, we had no problems with mosquitoes although there are plenty of pools. We would have liked a dog meadow, but you can't have everything. But I can still recommend the site!

"Great relaxing vacation in nature - I always enjoy going to the campsite to relax and enjoy nature. I particularly like the warm hospitality of the campsite, because you feel welcome every time you visit and always have a great stay there. Worth a trip for some relaxation with nature !!!

"Nature - relaxation - cordiality. - Absolutely recommendable for a time-out with a dog. It's quiet, you can relax and feel really comfortable. The people there were very friendly and always approachable. Really great.

"Beautiful short trip into nature - The site is beautifully situated, with direct access to various hiking routes. Perfect for a short trip or, weather permitting, a multi-week vacation with the whole family. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back!

The campsite ‘Am Bärenbache’ is located away from traffic in a quiet side valley, yet only a few minutes' walk from the town centre. The beautiful southern slope guarantees intense sunshine throughout the year. The pitches are designed as double …and single pitches, divided by hedges and laid out in terraces, thus maintaining personal privacy. Now also with a separately laid out motorhome pitch. If you love forests, then this campsite is a beautiful holiday destination. You will be camping in a natural environment where dense forests alternate with wide fields. Here you can take endless walks over the wooded hills. This is also a paradise for dogs. A beautiful place to relax and leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind. Many of the campers at Am Bärenbache campsite are looking for relaxation and peace and quiet, and they find it in nature. Enjoy German cuisine in the many restaurants in the area or take a hike in the Harz Nature Park. Bread rolls can be pre-ordered daily at reception.
