The site doesn't have everything up to the latest standard, but I don't need that either. The sanitary facilities were always well maintained and the bistro was not only tasty but also welcoming. In general, the site staff... were very friendly and everything went very smoothly.
I was able to drive down and really enjoy nature and its tranquillity.

The tourist tax only covers the use of the bus. In the evening after the bird-watching tours there is no bus. Overall poor value for money.Calm and deceleratedThe site is simply equipped. The small kiosk/bicycle rental was only open to a very limited extent; there were no bread rolls for breakfast. Well suited for water sports (water hiking, SUP and windsurfing) with rental and school. Few parceled-out tourist pitches. At weekends, crowds of short vacationers from Berlin.Automatski prevedeno.

OK. we had to pay for this booking according to the terms and conditions.
On arrival, chaos broke out immediately.
"Why have you already paid, you don't need that." But... then we had to pay for the electricity in advance 🙄 Maybe the billing methods should be reconsidered or the terms and conditions
be changed.
Furthermore, the dishwashing fees are also not quite up to date. Especially the somewhat too high stand fees for a rather simple place. The location alone doesn't make up for everything. If you are currently looking for deceleration 😴you only need to get bread rolls in the morning, then you also get climate-friendly advice on the way, 😖and that every day anew😏 ok.vacation was good, unfortunately we only exchanged too often, even if only small things, about one thing and another.Automatski prevedeno. - Wulf G.September 2019Dobre straneLocation and tranquillityNegativne straneRestricted access, many permanent campers, no lighting, expensiveLocked up!The site is located in beautiful surroundings in the middle of the Müritz National Park and is therefore quiet. Most of it is occupied by permanent campers, but you can choose a pitch on the free part. The sanitary facilities are functional and clean. The small food kiosk was closed in September. It... is completely impossible that the barrier cannot be opened during the "quiet times" from 13:00-15:00 and from 22:00-8:00 of the card (20,00€ deposit) even in an emergency! We had such an emergency and no one answered the emergency number provided. After a long search in the completely unlit parking lot, we found a small box at the information desk with an emergency card that could be used to open the barrier. When we asked the next day why we were not informed about this card, the answer was that the permanent campers knew about it!Automatski prevedeno.

But neither really bothered us.The Müritz, nature, more nature and much more!Smaller campsite, even smaller area for travelers (no rows or pitch boundaries). Hard to beat location between forest and lake and relaxed, very family- and even dog-friendly atmosphere. Bathing bay, which only reaches something like swimming depth after more than 100m, peacefully shared by a fairly... large surf school ("standing area" with wind!) and the many families with their children. Friendly, helpful reception. Upscale price level, but also top location. The fairly new sanitary building unfortunately looks a bit gloomy and unfresh. Access with card only (because of the surf school guests?) a little awkward, paying for hot water for shower and dishwashing according to two different systems seems petty to me. The snack bar and shop could do with a bit more. In the surrounding area: NATUUUUR! Another bathing spot, museum, history, dining and shopping opportunities in Rechlin. During the toilet use and showering the light went out (timer and payment also for the washing-up water). No pitch markings and demarcations for day guests. Electricity flat rate: 2.90 €/day - no TV! Total: 11,60 €. Total price: 111,20€, i.e.27,80€ day. not appropriate in the off-seasonAutomatski prevedeno.

Also ideal for cycling and hiking (nature reserve). Sanitary facilities clean and well maintained. Many permanent campers - relatively few free pitches - but free choice of pitch, very uncomplicated.
