It's a shame that you found your stay with us so negative. As you had booked the wrong category (caravan pitch), we had to rebook you with your heavy motorhome to a suitable pitch where the ground is not so soft and you would have drowned in the rain, at no extra cost. This made you... very upset and you left early. Too bad, because otherwise you could have spent a few more days on the beautiful alternative pitch.
We have already invested €28,000 in WiFi and had the maximum possible built and installed. With 900 guests in the high season, who unfortunately also use unauthorized devices (e.g. routers), it's not that easy. You can find more information about this on our website under pitch equipment - WLAN. We very much hope that the mobile phone network in the region will be expanded to relieve the pressure on us.
We could also have considered reporting you to the police, as you verbally attacked our employees and tried to blame them for your incorrect booking. You also claimed that the barrier should not have let you in. (That would be great if the barrier recognized that a motorhome was arriving but a caravan pitch had been booked). You had great difficulty accepting the fact that you yourself were to blame for your incorrect booking and therefore tried to pass it on to others. You should urgently work on this.

The garbage dump is in the middle of all the campers and stinks to high heaven. The staff sit on the table all day smoking and doing nothing. We wanted to swap the barrel but there was no cooperation. Totally incompetent groundskeeper and owner. our cozy camping barrels are mainly made of wood and can warp naturally depending on the weather. As we have an expert craftsman who regularly inspects the barrels and bungalows and carries out repairs as necessary, there is no need to worry about guests being unprotected in the barrel. The... color of the wood also changes due to aging and weathering, which is why color changes can occur naturally.
The fact that after a 4-day stay you did not report the defects you described until the evening before your departure gives the impression that you were trying to find a reason to lower the price.

ronny r.July 2024Dobre straneUncomplicated arrival, new and always clean sanitary building, sauna, close to Wismar and Boltenhagen, the very shallow bathing area is ideal for families with small childrenNegativne straneCar noise in the morning on the squares near the beach no midday restA relaxing vacation for usWith the online registration you simply drive up to the barrier and are admitted via the license plate. The pitches are clean and with water/electricity on the caravan/motorhome pitches. The sani house near the beach is new and is always kept clean. The only drawbacks are the urinals without flushing... and the paper dispenser where the leftovers are constantly lying on the floor.
For the arrival unlimited access allows vehicles to drive over the place at any time. At our time there were about 20-25 dogs on the site.
But everything was organized and clean.
The store was well run and always offered fruit and everything important in addition to the bread service. In the surrounding area (nearest towns) there are Kaufland, Lidl, Penny, Stolze and drinks markets. The campsite also has plenty of restaurants. In addition to the popular Italian restaurant, there is a restaurant with a beer garden for fish and burgers as well as a kebab restaurant.
There is a busy road between the square, which must always be left via the access road, and the beach. Between 9:00 and 19:00 the speed is limited to 40 km/h. In the morning rush hour traffic is much faster.
You can rent beach chairs on the beach
(€12 per day) or you can simply find a spot on the beach. There is much more space than people on site. Access to the water is very shallow for at least 200m, ideal for families with small children. The water is very clean, small amounts of seaweed.
The WLAN offered some reception, good at night. Otherwise, not even cell phone reception is guaranteed.
We had a relaxing vacation and would come again. Finally, a big compliment to the elderly groundsman. The pitches are large and well laid out. It feels quiet and not overcrowded. Due to the proximity to Boltenhagen and Wismar, the cities are easily accessible by bike, an excursion is always quickly feasible. The supply is also sufficiently given with the... small mini market. Washing machines are only in the wash house north and if you have your pitch in the south, then it is quite far to walk (only if you have a lot to wash is that perhaps a minus).Automatski prevedeno.

We couldn't be reached in an emergency. Our son had this at home at night and couldn't reach us. Cleanliness and equipment of the sanitary facilities very poor. Few cubicles, defective, calcified or missing shower heads. Automatic stop intervals when showering. Limescale and dirt everywhere. Unpleasant smell. Small and shady pitch. Noise from the adjacent streets. Disinterested staff. Located in the middle of nowhere. Not a nice beach. Our feeling!Not our place ... overrated.Left early. Did not feel comfortable. Thank you very much for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your stay. We would like to clarify a few points:
Mobile phone network: Mobile phone reception on the campsite is provided by the respective mobile phone providers. Due to the location of the campsite, reception... may be limited. After 7 years of planning, a mobile phone tower has now been built, but it was forgotten to connect it to electricity and internet. This may therefore take another 2 years.
WLAN: We offer WLAN, in which we have already invested € 28,000, on the campsite, but the performance can vary depending on the location and utilization. We ask our guests not to use their own routers or Wi-Fi amplifiers, as these affect and slow down the network for everyone. You can find tips on how to improve Wi-Fi reception on our website. Incidentally, most guests can make good phone calls via Messenger or Wi-Fi Call (under cell phone settings).
The condition of the sanitary facilities and the cleanliness of these vary greatly, but in the vast majority of cases they are perceived as very modern and clean (see the many other reviews). People have very different feelings about this.

This had the advantage that it was very quiet, the disadvantage was the somewhat limited Wi-Fi connection. The sanitary facilities were clean and adequate in our opinion. The adjoining restaurant can be recommended.
A bus stop (with a connection... to Wismar) is in the immediate vicinity of the campsite, as is a cycle path.

The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day and are mostly modernized. There are also kitchen areas with kettles and hotplates, which are particularly practical if you are traveling with a tent or for short stays.
Bicycles... can be hired on site at reasonable prices. Bicycles are also suitable for longer tours. The beach is right next to the campsite. You can also go shopping in the nearest villages by bus or bike without a car. There is a small kiosk on the site itself where you can get the essentials, and there is also a small pizzeria on the site (highly recommended)
Altogether suitable for young and old, whether as a couple or with the family!
