Showers do not work you need to get shower tokens to find a working shower. Dishwashing rooms are besieged by certain guests with electric hotplates and there is cooked for hours.Price performance Cruel!!!For the price we would have expected at least the sanitary facilities to be clean and working. The operator is nice, basically the place is rather expensive for the condition.
The bread rolls in the restaurant are not recommended (very small, home-baked and also very expensive. The lake is nice, water sports fans will certainly get their money's worth.
However, we won't be going there again.Automatski prevedeno.- Erika M.August 2021Dobre strane- the location is very quiet despite being close to the highway and you can drive down well - excursion destinations of various kinds are easily accessible - for a slightly different vacation it is worth a trip, just not longer than 2 nights (maybe because you are not a fan of camping / "glamping")Negativne strane- it was described online that wifi is available, but it is no longer in the hut - it should have been cleaner - Price for bed linen and towels overpriced - on the whole quite expensive for 2 nightsShort vacation with the familyWe've never been camping or anything like that before. I expected something different for the price, but on the whole it was ok.
Nevertheless, I wouldn't do it again as it's expensive and I expected it to be cleaner...but I suppose campers would call it "glamping" :)

Due to the proximity to the A2, there is constant road noise. At the end of our stay, the electricity
power supply was no longer working. Pitch number U30, area vacation pitches 2. We let them know but in the time we were there (day of departure) this was not fixed.... Distance to the lake ok. The water in the lake is very clear. The activities like water skiing start on the opposite side of the lake. We walked around the lake in about 20 minutes. 5 minutes shower = 1 euro / 1 shower chip. The sanitary facilities are ok! Shower tokens are required! Actually environmentally unfriendly in terms of reducing the amount of water. But no longer appropriate for camping. The pitches are large under nice birch and pine trees, the staff are nice.... We were there from Sat to Sun and some permanent campers behaved really badly! The operator of the water ski facility had company events on Saturday and Sunday, so that the facility was partially closed (please inquire in advance, as it was not clear on the homepage). But the most disturbing thing is the highway A2, which really runs right past the campsite! It's also a transit site - and that's what it's good for (from 3 o'clock at night there's less traffic on the A2). When the landing direction 09 is open, you also have planes landing or taking off from Hannover/Langenhagen! There is a small store with the most important things and a restaurant, which we did not test. The bread roll service is baked rolls for a good price! Good as a transit site, but a "NOGO" for us for longer.Automatski prevedeno.- Jörn S.April 2019Dobre straneRecreational value, quickly accessible from the highwayNegativne straneRoad noise from the highway, sandwiches not foundGood place, but nothing for us for longerWe stopped here for one night in April and were very satisfied. The site is located directly on a lake, where there is mini golf, swimming and a water ski facility. The operator was very friendly, we were even allowed to use one of the premium pitches right by the water and had our own access to the... beach. There is probably a bread roll service on site, but I didn't find it and drove to the nearest bakery without further ado. The location right next to the highway, which you can hear very clearly, is difficult. It didn't bother me too much, but it also meant that we probably wouldn't be staying here for any length of time. For a stopover or a "base camp" for a visit to Hanover, however, Garbsen will be on our itinerary again.Automatski prevedeno.

The store does not deserve the name. See the pictures! Staff in the store completely overwhelmed. Very dirty grounds, no dog bags and no garbage bins in the stands, garbage disposal area catastrophic, pizzeria on the CP from the 70s. The lake is great with a beautiful beach. You can walk all the way around it. Unfortunately, we didn't find any dog bags on the whole site, but we had enough with us. The pitches are large enough and divided by bushes. Unfortunately, many of them have gravel and little... grass. The drawback was the drains in the showers, when showering you stood completely in the water with your feet, sometimes still in the water from the previous person... The highway is not quite as loud as it looks on the mapMaking the best of the situationI was at the CP for an event in Hanover on the first week of May. Very friendly and uncomplicated welcome! Very well-equipped tourist pitches away from the permanent campers. There were also some tent campers on the WW tourist pitches. It is possible that this will no longer be possible in the summer... vacations and the tents will then have to go up the hill - which would not be tragic apart from the longer walk to the showers. Overall, there was a very nice, informal atmosphere. The highway is so far away that you can no longer hear individual vehicles, the noise is clear but you can get used to it; it also covers up other noises to some extent and creates a bit of privacy in its own way. I heard nothing in the WW. 1x shower costs 1€ for 5 minutes, which is interrupted when the water is turned off; with a view of the non-campers at the lake, this is probably unavoidable. The store was unfortunately very sparsely stocked! But the nearest supermarket can be reached by car in <5 mins. The restaurant is supposed to have a new operator, unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to try it out.Automatski prevedeno.

Mostly permanent campers. We were there on Sunday. You could hear the sound system of the restaurant at the end of the lake all day until the evening: bum bum. It wasn't that exciting. Depending on where you stand,... you can also hear the towing system on the lake. Overall, it could be renovated. The shower / WC for the disabled is far too small (including changing table and baby bath). Above all, it was just too unclean for us. But it was enough for one overnight stay and from that point of view it was also good.Automatski prevedeno.

And the nearby highway has been mentioned often enough...Spacious tourist pitches - pure freedom and everything on siteYes, yes, yes - the highway is nearby and constantly audible. But you can see that on every map and read all the comments in good time. You hardly notice it quickly. Otherwise, everything is great. Parcelled-out tourist pitches separated by shrubs, with electricity, water, waste water, some directly... on the lake. Trees for shade or sunbathing, depending on your preference. Friendly welcome, bread roll service etc. etc. And the blue lake, with sandy beaches, water ski slips etc.pp is simply good, with the highest recreational value and best water quality. On the main beach there is also a cocktail bar (2 floors!) right on the water, mini golf and so on. Let's not make a long story short. The proximity to the A2 as a transit point or city tour Hanover (20 km)Negativne straneexcept for the audible noise of the A2 ---none ! ---the ideal transit point for trips north or city tours to HanoverThe campsite in the immediate vicinity of the A2 was a nice spot for us to spend the night on our way to the Baltic Sea. We were able to choose our pitch on a small lake with water skiing facilities and a permanent campsite. The clearly audible noise of the A2 was no longer disturbing after a few minutes.... The site was in a clean condition and the sanitary buildings were also very clean, heated, spacious and in a modern condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Sanitary facilities ok, 1 euro shower token is enough for one shower, men's washbasin with light barrier, no continuous liquid washing possible.... Small restaurant with little choice. Unfortunately no C-place alternative in the immediate vicinity. AND VERY IMPORTANT: Hardly accessible from the leash (with canoe on the way), steep bank, huge nettle field, steep slope. Needed 90 minutes to transport two boats from the river to the C-place.Automatski prevedeno.
