"Very well-kept CP, quiet, with a great swimming lake in the French Ardennes - The outdoor facilities of the campsite are very well maintained. The green pitches vary in size and are comfortably bordered by hedges, medium-high trees, tiny "store", delicious baguette (also with grains!) to order in advance, snack bar, sanitary facilities simple but relatively clean (dirt from unclean fellow guests) - in the low season only half of the site was open - the site is under Dutch management, staff very friendly. The highlight is the long warm ! Bathing lake, as a dammed historical canal, great for swimming, right next to the site with non-swimmer part and small sandy beach, climbing frames for the little ones, football pitch 500 m away, agricultural surroundings, slight hills, very rural, very quiet. A good place to relax away from the main traffic routes, approx. 1000 m to the village for the essentials, small supermarket. New navigation system did not know the address of the site, but the campsite in the village was well signposted

Profil

La Samaritaine campsite is located in the south of the French Ardennes, within walking distance of Buzancy. Here you will find an oasis of calm and well-kept facilities with beautiful pitches in a park-like setting. The campsite is close to …a stream and a swimming pond with a landscaped beach in a hilly area with beautiful views. The campsite has beautiful, spacious pitches that are easily accessible. There are paved pitches with plenty of shade for campers. The demarcated pitches guarantee plenty of privacy. You can choose between sunny and shady pitches. Several mobile homes and bungalows are available for rent on the premises. The campsite is popular with families because of the many facilities for children. In the high season, for example, there is an entertainment programme at least twice a week. In the low season, it is popular with senior citizens who travel by camper or caravan. The campsite shop offers a limited range, but local products are available. Fresh bread is delivered to the site every morning to order. At the weekend, snacks, ice cream and takeaway food are available at the campsite snack bar. The locals also like to come here. Nearby is a pond with a ‘natural swimming pool’ with a grass and sandy beach and a sunbathing lawn. There are play equipment on the sandy beach. There is a bouncy castle and a trampoline. In addition to table tennis and boccia, you can also enjoy the entertainment programme (high season). For example, lawn mower and car races are occasionally organised.
