- Markus W.June 2019Dobre straneThe islandNegativne straneThe sanitary facilitiesVery beautiful islandThe island is beautiful. The island tour and definitely the path to the puffins are recommended, but you can skip the lighthouse. The campsite fills up quickly and unfortunately there is only one shower and toilet for about 50 vehicles. This is completely unacceptable and has probably not been changed for years as there is a lack of competition. It's a real shame.Automatski prevedeno.
- Jens B.July 2018Dobre straneNature experiencesNegativne straneThe infrastructure of the campsite is getting on in years."special" campsiteAs has already been written several times, this campsite is particularly interesting for those who come here for the nature and especially the seabirds. Yes, it's true. There are better equipped and better maintained campsites. But at no other campsite that I know of will the nature-interested guest... be able to gather so many magnificent impressions in such a short time. As this was our second time as guests, I cannot confirm the repeatedly reported unfriendliness of the operator. We were always willingly given information and the like - probably because I share Knut's enthusiasm for birds. We will definitely be back.Automatski prevedeno.
- konrad m.August 2016Dobre stranebeautiful view of the rough sea located directly on the road, easily accessibleNegativne straneUncomfortable accommodation at inflated prices, completely geared towards tourism, with souvenir stores etc...unfriendly ownerNot for connoisseurs of Norway who are looking for the quaint and lonelyVery nice location, but nothing you wouldn't find elsewhere in Norway. The owner was very unfriendly towards us - perhaps because we were only on a trip to the north and not potential customers. The accommodation really put us off staying here. They were very uncomfortable and reminded us of those "ToToi... toilets" you see at funfairs. Only bigger, ceiling, floor and walls in plastic. We are not at all familiar with this type of accommodation in Norway. We also found the camping site too busy, not the peace and quiet that you usually look for and usually find in Norway. We also found the prices for the "plastic houses" far too high. So we moved on, which we in no way regrettedAutomatski prevedeno.
- Michael M.July 2016Dobre straneUnique location on the open sea. Absolutely quiet, just the sound of the sea and the cries of seagulls. Tourism, but no mass tourism.Negativne straneNo real ones.Sea and birdsFirst of all, not everyone will like this campsite. If you are looking for a campsite with top facilities, you are in the wrong place! Wild campers are also not welcome, who, after driving up and down the only road on the island and not finding a place to "stand free", are forced to visit the campsite.... They usually arrive late in the evening, complain about the basic sanitary facilities (which they don't use anyway) and the price, but want the best pitch for one night. Of course, they dispose of waste and fill up with water before leaving again the next morning. They didn't see anything, apart from the usual seagulls, which were also fed. And then there's the "unfriendly" groundsman, who makes no bones about the fact that he doesn't like tourists like this. The island is a jewel if you take a closer look and the campsite stands out above all for its ingenious location right by the sea and its proximity to the bird cliffs. Not because of the high-quality facilities, although everything is there. The "unfriendly" groundsman and his wife are happy to help you at reception. In fact, the site is unusual by Norwegian standards. In the season, the pitches are as close together as in Germany. You can camp scattered all over the site. Even in secluded nooks and crannies on the mountain. When you register, you are given comprehensive information in German about the island and the birdlife. Last but not least: There is not a single permanent camper on the site, it is purely a tourist site! There are many regular guests who often come every year and stay for several weeks. Overall, there is a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere on the site. It is a place for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. Yes, there is tourism here, but in a pleasant way. However, if you are looking for solitude, you are in the wrong place. For me and many others, Goksöyr Camping is one of the top campsites in Norway!Automatski prevedeno.
- Sabine D.September 2015Dobre straneWonderful view, peace and quiet and straight parking spacesSimply fantasticFantastic location, also suitable for a stay of several days. The pitch will be maintained. The campsite owner is multilingual and very willing to provide information.Automatski prevedeno.
- Holger R.August 2015Dobre straneFantastic location on the bird island of Runde.Negativne straneToo few parking spaces, number of sanitary facilities too small.Fantastic locationBeautifully situated campsite. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. Unfortunately not enough when fully occupied. But that's acceptable in this fantastic location. In the high season you should urgently call on the morning of your planned arrival and reserve a pitch. Otherwise the trip there will be in vain, as the campsite is almost always full in high season.Automatski prevedeno.
- Fredy B.July 2015Dobre straneLocation, nature and birdlife. FriendlinessNegativne straneSanitary facilitiesExperience the world of birdsThe staff are very friendly and helpful. Even if space is tight, they are interested in finding a suitable place for new arrivals. The sanitary facilities, well, should hopefully be renovated soon. The site offers a good starting point for bird watching. The walk to the puffins takes about 1 1/4 hours.... The path starts steeply. For what you get to see, it's simply tremendous. The puffins return to their nesting sites at around 8 p.m. (July). The visit is highly recommended.Automatski prevedeno.
- Harald G.July 2015Dobre straneWell suited for rest and relaxation.Place right by the seaSmall, beautifully laid out and well-kept pitch right on the water. Very friendly groundsman. The site is mainly designed as a pitch for motorhomes and caravans. But there is also space for tents. There are also huts or a house to rent. The site is being expanded. Starting point for hikes to the Vogelfelsen.Automatski prevedeno.
- Jürgen W.June 2015Dobre straneClose to natureNegativne straneChaos wherever you lookBird island roundThe first impression was horrible: it was raining cats and dogs, the sea stank of rotten fish and then the sanit. Facilities... PVC and plastic. But then the weather cleared up. We got a spot right on the quay wall next to large mobile homes, like in a parking lot. But with a wide view of the sea and... the offshore islands. The tide came in and the first shower was pleasantly warm. The next day, we got to know the island on a hike and were reconciled to everything again. However, the ground was very soft from all the rain over the last few days. High shoes (or boots) required. TV and W-Lan are only available in the common room (those who love order are not allowed to look around there). The boat trip around the island is highly recommended (only takes place in calm weather) for approx. 25€ per person. Renovation work on the campsite will hopefully lead to better reviews. The place deserves it.Automatski prevedeno.
- martin m.September 2013Dobre straneBeautiful surroundings, but nothing exceptional by Norwegian standardsNegativne straneDisgusting accommodation, fully lined with plastic so that it can be easily cleaned with a hose. Very uncomfortableHostile to German, I would never go there againA very unpleasant bird freak who scolded the Germans for taking their boats far too far out to sea without having any idea of the danger. He would not help them according to the motto "Let them sink - it's their own fault, the Germans know everything better anyway"Automatski prevedeno.
- Hubert S.August 2013Very friendly welcome with all the information about the birdlife on Runde, a campsite for nature lovers.Automatski prevedeno.

- Michael T.July 2011Goksöyr Camping is located on the island of Runde. Two points make this excursion worthwhile: 1. the "bird rock". From May to July, all kinds of seabirds breed there, including puffins (if you're lucky). You can hike there on various routes. 2. the approach...: The approach to the island round via (from... the south) the roads E39 - 15 - 61 - 654 - 18 (end on round) is visually and scenically great. It also takes you over narrow bridges and causeways onto the island. Very attractive scenery. The site itself is located directly by the sea and below the hiking area. Electricity supply almost everywhere (with enough cable everywhere). Wash house a little short in the season as many day trippers come. Packed in the evening. Overnight stay 2011: NOK 190 (very ok for N), showers NOK 10. Small store on the site. Multilingual reception including good German :-) Pitches for motorhomes mainly on the water's edge.Automatski prevedeno.
