"Quiet, clean and cozy - We stayed at the site for a weekend and had a pitch right next to the playground. With children that was of course perfect. The site is quiet and rustic. Yet clean and well-kept. Just as you would expect for a short trip. Some guests also spend their vacations here. Why not? The wash houses were clean and the site was well maintained. The bistro and beer garden were always busy and bustling. We found the food and breakfast good and sufficient. The staff were very friendly and courteous, which is what makes it special. The outdoor pool looked clean and was also used. A great add-on to the campsite. All in all recommended. We will be back.

"Not much more is needed - Actually a beautiful spot on earth. Friendly staff, great hiking opportunities, public transport included in the tourist tax, but what good is that with these impossible bus timetables?

"Place okay, but with 36€/night not cheap - We were on site for 4 days/3 nights. The pitch was clean, as were the sanitary facilities. The price ledider far away from the indicated 22,-€.

"Short vacation - We stayed at the campsite for a short vacation and felt very comfortable. Good hiking opportunities, new sanitary facilities, beautiful, well-kept campsite, also easily accessible from the A7. We will be back again.

The Eulenburg campsite covers an area of 50,000 square metres and is located directly next to the Söse river nature reserve and the Sösetalsperre reservoir. It is a perfect place to camp in the Harz region and an ideal starting …point for excursions into the Harz National Park with its unspoilt landscape. Enjoy camping in the Harz region and nature at the Eulenburg campsite in southern Lower Saxony. The campsite is located in the immediate vicinity of the Harzer Hexenstieg (a hiking trail) and the Sösetalsperre (a reservoir). It has its own swimming pool and a cosy restaurant with a fireplace, which is a popular destination for hikers and walkers at any time of the year. The site offers camping pitches for caravans, motorhomes, groups and long-term camping, a HayHotel, mattress dormitory, the camping hotel with single and double rooms, beer garden, two additional barbecue huts and playgrounds for children. The Eulenburg is also an excellent venue for events, celebrations and family reunions. And right next door is the modern Eulenburg bowling centre, located in the former weaving mill of the Eulenburg industrial monument. How about breakfast at the Eulenburg – for example, the ‘Kleine Kauz’ (little owl) for those with a small appetite or the ‘hearty breakfast’ with sausage specialities from the region? Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the Gaststube or Kaminstube or outside in the beer garden during the summer months. A camping holiday with children is always a challenge for parents or accompanying persons. On the one hand, children need to be kept busy, and on the other hand, you don't have all the ‘full equipment’ with you when camping that you do at home. But here at the Eulenburg, we literally have playgrounds, lots of nature and a swimming pool to offer. With excellent water quality and pleasant water temperatures, young people meet at the swimming pool for water games in the evening. Everyone has fun, no one is disturbed. And the little ones watch from the climbing tower. There is a separate paddling pool for them in the playground.
