"Well... - The pitch is ok. The sanitary facilities are very nice. But actually right on the main road (where the "Womo" pitches are in front of the lockers...) No nice walks possible - and above all far too expensive. We paid about 30 euros per night without electricity

"Expensive overnight accommodation with an average offer - Located in a commercial area on a busy road, this site is ideal for overnight stays for people passing through. +-+-+-+-+ On arrival in the afternoon, the reception is closed, but you can then contact the "night watch". The friendly permanent camper on pitch A11 takes the ACSI card and explains the most important things about the pitch. We can simply choose our pitch. +-+-+-+-+ The pitches are large enough, but not level, so you need a wheel chock or a board to stand reasonably horizontally. +-+-+-+-+-+ The sanitary building is getting on in years, but makes a relatively clean impression (at least for the men, the ladies are said to have looked a little different ...). There is only one shower per gender! +-+-+-+-+ There are several play areas for children, including several trampoline/jumping areas. +-+-+-+-+ Very unpleasant are the high costs for the overnight stay: Despite the ACSI card, we were initially charged 460 DKK for a single night (approx. 62 euros!), but when I pointed out that this really couldn't be right, they recalculated. Nevertheless, we still have to pay 375.50 DKK (just under 51 euros). This means that in addition to the ACSI price of 19 euros (pitch + 2 adults incl. electricity), an additional 32 euros are charged just for our two older children and any personal fees (4 tourist taxes in the industrial/commercial area?). An outrage in my eyes! (This leads to a drastic devaluation in my overall rating, where 3 stars would actually be appropriate).

"Kolding City Camp is a great transit site - The site is, especially due to its location close to the highway, excellent for transit or short stays. The sanitary facilities are in order and the general impression of the standard of maintenance is OK. Very nice and friendly service at the reception.

"Pleasant springboard to northern Scandinavia - Typical overnight stopover site. The site is fine, but nothing interesting around it. Except if needed: a large caravan, motorhome and camping equipment dealer with a workshop is right next door.

"Great base - From this campsite we were able to explore Denmark for many years and partly because of this we lost our hearts to this beautiful country.

Kolding City Camp is a friendly campsite - a perfect stop-over with lots of city break offers, only 2 km from the E45 on the way up North or South in Europe. The region is recommended for fishing, as well. …Only 1/2 hours drive from the famous Legoland Park.
