The campsite is in a nice location, but extremely unkempt and with a clearly visible maintenance backlog. The toilets have no toilet seat (see pictures), the washing machine feels like it's from the 70s; the hatch only opens when the machine has power, which means that you have to throw in money to get... to the laundry even though the machine has already finished washing (alternatively, you have to be at the machine exactly on time, which is not exactly user-friendly). The play equipment is used up and a cheek for children and also dangerous. The little sand available in the sandpit is used up and dirty; the seesaw animal is broken and simply lying around in the area, which means that children can easily injure themselves on the steel spring. We only saw one young man as staff the whole time; he was friendly, but is overwhelmed with the site. A very heavy manhole cover has to be lifted to empty the motorhome's waste water; the risk of injury is considerable. On top of all this, the pitch is not even cheap, we paid the equivalent of 28 euros for one night. I cannot recommend this campsite and will not be returning. Nice address to stay with the city of Oslo at your fingertips (40 km). Also suitable for trips in the area, such as to Kongsberg, Larvik, Holmestrand etc. Is a good alternative to the campsites in Oslo.

Typical town square (near Oslo). Quite nicely situated by the lake. Very muddy when it rains. Nice footpath along the water to Drammen.
