Small place on a small lake
This small campsite is a real alternative to a pitch at the harbor. About 1.5 km from the harbor, the site is idyllically situated by the lake. There is sufficient electricity, toilets and showers (NOK 10) and a communal kitchen. WiFi is free, but the connection even at reception is so poor that you... might as well leave it alone. The site owner is friendly, but not always present. You can then choose your own pitch and also connect the electricity. Nice starting point for a round trip to Hammerfest on the Gammelveien with great views. The location on the road is not a problem as there is not much traffic! Price 2017: NOK 270 for 2 adults and electricity connection

The small, very basic campsite is located on Lake Storvatnet, right next to a busy road. The sanitary facilities are good (by Norwegian standards, especially this far north!). At the end of August the reception was only open for 1 hour a day, but you can park your car on arrival and plug it in. No WLAN or similar.
