The lake is beautiful, soft, clear water, ideal for swimming, paddling and the like, uncomplicated registration, a contact person is always available by phone, clean, the entire logistics seem... loving and perfect to me, the sanitary facilities are clean and pleasant. A luxury: delicious burgers once a week. Very people and dog friendly... The site owners attach great importance to nature and tranquillity. We were able to fully enjoy this and had a wonderful rest. The lighting on the paths is discreet, so it's not distracting. You won't regret it! ;)Automatski prevedeno. - René L.May 2024Dobre straneSpace, concept and memories of childhoodNegativne straneWhat is not necessarily a disadvantage are permanent campers who have made it their business to keep a very close eye on their camping guests. 😉Perfect for rest and relaxationEven though our stay was a little longer ago (May 2024), we would like to send a big thank you to the operators for this wonderful concept, as they make the guests' stay an experience of peace and quiet. The pitches are very spacious. Our pitch near the lake was perfect for enjoying the view of the tranquil... lake at breakfast. The mix of rental properties, permanent campers and rental pitches is perfect. The sanitary building is very clean and equipped with everything you need. The small beach is perfectly adequate for the manageable pitches and you can sit on the bench early in the morning and watch the animals. We paddled out onto the water quite early with the SUP and paddled through beautiful connecting channels to the large Lychener See lake, and despite being careful, we woke up lots of seabirds. If you want to enjoy peace and quiet and find your inner balance, this is the place for you. Our criticism goes to the enormous number of mosquitoes that accompanied us to the sanitary building. 😄

The comfort pitches are spacious and very well laid out, with water and electricity available on the pitch. The small, well-kept beach is just a few steps away, where you can swim... in the clear water or take a boat trip. The sanitary facilities are in a very clean condition and the staff are always friendly and happy to take advice of any kind.
From the campsite, you can easily take your dog for a walk in the nearby forest along several paths.
To do your shopping you only need a bike and within 10 minutes you are in Lychen, where there are enough possibilities to get all the things you need.
We will definitely come back next year.

It is located directly in a forest and you have direct access to the lake. If you are looking for real relaxation, you will find it there. The campsite doesn't have its own kiosk. However, you can get to the nearest supermarket... quickly by bike. Bikes can also be hired there directly and at a very reasonable price. Canoe and boat hire is also nearby. The accommodation and sanitary facilities are well maintained and clean. Overall, the whole area is very natural, but still well-kept and what we find very important: clean! There is no garbage lying around and care is also taken to remove the droppings of the four-legged friends. Pets are very welcome there and there is a free run and beach for dogs. Overall, the campsite has a very nice concept. Attention is paid to sustainability and this is reflected in many things. From natural cleaning products to food sharing, everything is well thought out here. The staff and operators are very friendly and always ready to help if you need them. We've been to a lot of campsites in recent years, but we've rarely liked it as much as here.Automatski prevedeno.

Our comfort pitch was very large and had electricity and water on site. It was only a few steps to the lake.
Unfortunately, there is no bread roll service on site. However, the nearest bakery is only a few kilometers away by bike. There is also an artisan baker in Lychen itself who makes wonderful baked goods. We then visited this campsite and realized that we liked it much better at the Rehberge campsite and extended our stay by a week.
We stayed on one of the comfort pitches in the lower part of the site.... It was very quiet there, only occasionally you could hear singing from the neighboring Reiherhals recreational area, where a choir of young people was apparently rehearsing. But that didn't bother us any more. Mostly we only heard the birdsong. Deer with fawns, which could sometimes be observed briefly in the tall grass, lived up to the name of the site. The size of the pitches means you have a lot of privacy. This certainly also applies to the somewhat smaller standard pitches.
The reception was nice and friendly, as were the other guests. All pitches have their own water connection. The sanitary facilities were always very clean and are quite new. There were 3 hooks in the showers and you could put your things down without them getting wet. A little something I have often missed elsewhere.
If you want to party with friends, need restaurants and entertainment or a store directly on the campsite, you should avoid this site. If you're looking for peace and quiet, closeness to nature and real camping, this is the place for you.
