We stayed in Weida for 8 days. The campsite is very quiet. Pure rest and relaxation. We could not fault it. The owners were courteous, friendly and helpful. Many permanent campers or permanent structures and the few free pitches are filled with transients. The reception building houses the cool-looking, clean sanitary facilities, the "laundry room", the dishwashing area and a few information stands for the surrounding area. Apart from a... walk around the campsite, we didn't have enough time. We went down to the beach, which has a lovely sunbathing area and is a great place to linger. Cleanliness tip top and everything worked perfectly . you could walk a lot in the area , also not far to the Osterburg we walked .
Had a great view of the lake :), on site you could... also rent a boat or a SUP. There is a well-kept playground directly on the campsite, a snack bar.
If you leave earlier it is not a problem, you will only be charged for what you were on site.

The pitches are well-kept and close to nature and the distance to water, waste water and electricity is very short. You can swim or paddle in the lake and there is a sunbathing lawn.
The very well-kept condition of... the permanent pitches is also striking - instead of ugly fences and privacy tarpaulins, there are shrubs, flowers and bushes. It all makes a very friendly impression.
The sanitary facilities are extremely clean at all times of the day and night and smell good, even if they are not old but not the most modern either. The showers can be turned off in between so that a shower coin is easily enough. You can wash and dry your laundry, do the dishes and cook for a coin.
The manager is always helpful and extremely friendly. I really liked the quick and clear response by email to my inquiry via the contact form. The reception was very nice and there were lots of tourist tips.
There is a kiosk with a snack bar right on site, which offers everything you need and snacks at reasonable prices. You can also order bread rolls there.
The building housing the reception, sanitary facilities and other facilities is a little dark. Everything is spotlessly clean, but bright paint and new lamps would make a big difference. However, this is really the only criticism and does not justify a "point deduction". The site and the people there are great and worth every visit.Automatski prevedeno.

Too bad, it could have been so nice (quiet).Nice place- BUTIn principle, we would recommend the site, but you have to be aware that the site is dominated by permanent campers and in our case, one permanent camper in particular, along with guests, dominated the site quite omnipresently and loudly. We, stress-ridden city dwellers seeking peace and quiet and generally... tolerant, were quite disappointed by this experience. Especially as the Auma dam didn't offer what we expected either, offering a sad sight of an algae-covered puddle. Of course, this is nobody's fault - the drought doesn't stop at the Vogtland either. The operator was very friendly and immediately on hand to help with any problems. The washrooms were tidy and clean and the oldschool shower coins were more than enough. The bread rolls available at the kiosk were good. If the dam has water again one day, we might come back again.Automatski prevedeno.

The sanitary facilities were clean. The lake was unfortunately empty, a nasty puddle. The surroundings were nice for hiking. Last but not least, we had a visit from mice in the awning and there was no leftover food. We certainly won't be going there again.Automatski prevedeno.
