"Camping ok, food oh my! - We would love to come back because of the location on the Neckar, especially suitable for dogs. We had no bikes with us and were dependent on the food on offer due to our advanced age. This could be improved.

"Very nice place, unfortunately without reservation possibility - We were in Tübingen for one of my wife's drum workshops and wanted to reserve a place. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible, so we went there on the off-chance. On the day of arrival, we called again from the road and were told that there was still 1 space available. Unfortunately, this was already taken on arrival, but an emergency pitch could be made available. Due to the high fluctuation on the campsite, we got a nice, flat pitch the next morning. The site itself is quite small and manageable, motorhomes, caravans and tents are separated from each other, the atmosphere is very friendly and accommodating. A small bistro with a garden offers small meals and drinks, and a kiosk sells a few everyday items. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. Direct access by stairs to the Neckar, swimming in summer, but still a little too cold in May. All in all, a very nice place with the only drawback that it is not possible to book in advance, as we had no alternative to this campsite. But the owners were very keen to accommodate us despite the site being full.

"I'd love to come back! - i really enjoyed it! thank you very much! as my gas system failed, i would have liked to have a morning coffee "from the vending machine", but that's the only thing i missed. I would love to come back!

"The access road is a bottleneck - Reservations are probably only possible for special guests and with the narrow, long driveway you can only hope to get a place. No barrier, no midday rest. Top power supply. WLAN sometimes great.

"Recommended - Very close to the city, directly on the Neckar. Friendly welcome at the reception with a map of the city and co. There is a staircase that leads down to the Neckar, so you can jump straight in for a swim.

Opening hours: The campsite is open from april to october and the reception is happy to welcome you from 8 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 20 o'clock. Location: Not far from the old town and university of Tübingen, the …small 3-stars campsite "Neckarcamping" has been newly-renovated and is also accessible for disabled. The campsite is located in a quiet and idyllic area directly on the Neckar river bank, opposite to the public outdoor pool. On our comfortable campsite site you will find all our modern facilities, which lend themselves equally well to stays in tents, caravans or motor homes. Small cabins for rent are also at your disposal. Neckarcamping is installed with a solar-thermal system and achieves ecologically. Water-flow restrictions save water and energy and all recyclable materials are ensured to be recycled. Whether you are looking for free W-LAN internet, fishing, table tennis, bike-riding, children's play parks, punting trips or to see the town, whether you are big or small: Here you have the best opportunities for an enjoyable and enriching stay. And you can also enjoy a good cuisine and fresh draught-beer in the campsite's restaurant „Neckarstube“ or in our great beer garden! We look forward to your visit!
