We were informed nicely, quickly and clearly and were allowed to choose a pitch. The site is close to the road, but it was still quiet from the evening onwards. It is a very well run campsite, which is far too good for just passing through. We stayed for a week on our return journey. There are several sanitary facilities with slightly different facilities, but they are all well maintained. The pitches right on the water for motorhomes are great. There are several play areas for children. The staff were friendly and there was a free choice of pitches. The sanitary facilities were clean and tidy despite the youth groups. The small barbecue hut on the rock and the sauna barrel were in need of renovation and detracted from the good overall impression. We chose the site because of the many top reviews. Location is very nice, you can't hear the road in the immediate vicinity. Sanitary also good. You can do a lot in the surrounding area, especially... hiking and with children. Not so great for motorcycling but we also wanted something to relax. Swampy pitchBeautiful location, swampy meadow, sanitary cleanliness not under controlThe location of the site is fantastic. However, the meadow with the pitches turns into a swamp when it rains. Beware of towing vehicles with front-wheel drive! Promised help complicated. We had four Norwegian school classes in the cabins at the same time. This meant there was no peace and quiet and the sanitary facilities were constantly dirty. Otherwise very mediocre. Infrastructure limited, construction work.Automatski prevedeno.

Located on the Byglandsfjord on a peninsula, conveniently situated for north and south trips on the E9 and as an overnight stop for the Kristiansand ferry (1 hour drive), unique panorama, quiet location, very clean toilet facilities, new motorhome pitch... with asphalted pitches and grass to sit on, otherwise you have to look for a place, good supply possibility, super nice operator (speaks seven languages), who reads your wishes from your eyes, cafe/bistro, canoe/boat rental, very good fishing possibilities, guided elk safari, very good bathing possibilities, many play possibilities for children, mountain bike and rafting center nearby (approx.5km). It is possible to take a trip on the fjord in a wood-fired steamboat that is over 100 years old (approx. 2.5 hours). We stayed here first on our tour of southern Norway and returned here after our round trip because we liked it best here. We spent the whole of our last week here and were simply thrilled. Every day we stayed here longer, we discovered more and decided to spend a complete vacation here.Automatski prevedeno.

The German-speaking owner is very nice and helpful, very good swimming and water sports facilities. The cleanliness can still be worked on and WiFi only works sporadically, therefore only 3 instead of the 4 stars it deservesAutomatski prevedeno.
- Met N.June 2013When it has rained, the main area becomes quite boggy and difficult to drive away with a camper van or caravan-caravan; the area makes a disorganized, unkempt impression. Thank goodness I managed to get a pitch on the small peninsula to the north ... I can really recommend it. Wonderful view over the... lake from there. The sanitary facilities are clean and there are large family showers with toilets. Very friendly reception, owner is/was German, who also speaks perfect Dutch.
