All in all, the campsite impresses with its tranquillity and simplicity. However, this is not reflected in the price. The lower, first sanitary facility is nicer and newer. Guests mainly young people. It is better to leave the awning in, as the whole area is very windy due to the proximity to the sea.... The nearest beach is about 2 km away and is breathtaking. Be sure to take your bikes with you, the rental bikes are expensive and below any standard. Washing machine 5€. Sagres is only worth 1x. To the lighthouse approx. 6km. There are plenty of parking spaces there.

The natural CP is located approx. 2 km from the sea. Partly in the pine forest. There are two sanitary facilities. One old, the other new. Both are very clean. Free Wifi in the entrance area. No pool. Restaurant (bar) available. Bread rolls only if ordered in advance. Bicycle rental 18€ p.d. Electricity... 4€ p.d. - as always far too expensive for a motorcyclist (SPhone, netbook charging). For what is on offer ??? - far too expensive. We paid €27.30 per night in the tent. Shopping possibilities in the village or at LIDL one village before.

Only in an emergency
Orbitur campsites are usually open all year round. This is the only reason we were stranded here. If you value reasonably well-maintained sanitary facilities, you should look elsewhere or, if you own a motorhome, use your own sanitary facilities. The only positive thing to note is that the water temperature... in the showers can be regulated. Large site with over 500 pitches (according to ACSI) Hilly terrain with lots of trees. Free choice of pitches and free WLAN at the (closed) restaurant. You can choose between sand and red earth, which is partly covered with light-colored gravel. We opted for the red earth, which we regretted after the first rain shower. For motorhomes, some pitches are equipped with concrete strips, but these are very short and mostly broken. When we left the campsite, we realized that the trees and their branches at the exit were too low for us (3.2 m), which is why we were forced to leave the site against the direction of travel. Sad conditions, overall a very unkempt site. However, a friendly receptionist who even speaks German. Bread roll service from 8:30 am. In mid-October '14 we paid €15.60 for a motorhome with 2 people including electricity.

Quiet, great surroundings

We came across the place by chance and we personally liked it! We did a backpacker tour and ended up there! The place is kept very simple and it's just camping! It was super quiet as there wasn't much going on apart from a few surfers! We were able to eat well in the area and it was also quick to get to the beach!

Very nice site in the forest and good shady spots for tents. Unfortunately very far from the beach, but large supermarket within walking distance. Generally very expensive.

As always, Orbitur no longer surprises with the cleanliness and good condition of its parks. The staff are polite and friendly, as well as being helpful to campers and motorhomers. The park has natural nooks and crannies that are wonderful to photograph and enjoy. I'll be back whenever I wander around the not always inviting and friendly Algarve. This is the exception! AFigas

The reception speaks perfect German:-) and you can order fresh, crispy bread rolls. The older, paper/soap-free and clean sanitary facilities are cleaned in the morning. Pitches at the top of the hill have concrete strips for motorhomes and caravans. Free WiFi with a wonderful view of Sagres and the coast on the terrace of the restaurant, which is still closed. Wonderfully quiet! At night you can only hear dogs barking at a great distance.

The ladies at the reception are very unfriendly, you are close together and it is very noisy due to the size, the sanitary facilities are underground, a bonus - you can buy everything on site in the supermarket. Rather functional for bridging the gap

Very nice place in an absolutely quiet location. We had a free choice of pitches on the partly unparceled site. Very few permanent campers and beautiful pitches. The sanitary facilities were clean but outdated and in need of renovation. In high season there is a shuttle service to the distant beach. Free WLAN is available near the reception. The prices were fair.

This site belongs to the Orbitur Group, which operates 23 campsites of varying quality in Spain. It is situated on a pine-covered hill with a view of the town and the fortress. The ladies at reception are quite unfriendly, although there was not much going on at the site itself and therefore no stress.... It is mainly occupied by permanent guests. The sanitary facilities are very outdated and in urgent need of renovation. There is a shuttle bus to the beach.
