We have always enjoyed it very much.
Three generations of us have been to the campsite and spent our vacation there.
Our dogs were also with us and Frank always has a "treat" for dogs in his pocket ;-)
The Jumbo supermarket is nearby...the prices... are the same as in Germany.
I would always make a quick trip to Elten to refuel...but the Dutch do that too!!!
We think the place is great, the price/performance ratio is also perfectly okay.
If you want to go fishing, this is the place for you.

Lots of old rotten caravans, abandoned plots full of garbage and weeds, mold in the red wash house and noisy people from the Ruhr area on the large meadow. There is dirt everywhere, the garbage cans are not emptied and the toilets are not cleaned. There is only one sanitary building with hot water, but it seems to belong to a group of Germans from the Ruhr area, who camp right in front of the entrance. It is very noisy... at night, you can hardly get a wink of sleep. The food in the restaurant is not to be recommended, the campsite's own supermarket is probably just for decoration, as it is always closed. The operator is extremely unfriendly. The sanitary facilities were clean and very well maintained. The staff are friendly. The pitches are quite tight, especially when the site is full. There are no hedges/bushes to separate them. It can get noisy, especially at... the weekend. I found the price quite expensive for individual camping. There is only a package deal for up to two people, with or without electricity. If you are traveling alone, you still pay for two, only the tourist tax for the second person is waived. Free Wi-Fi is available and usually works. The hot showers are free of charge, there is a stopwatch in the shower and the water is turned off after six minutes. Classic radio was on around the clock in the sanitary building.Automatski prevedeno.

Flies feel particularly at home in them. A real shame, at this beautiful location you expect clean showers and toilets and no ripped out doors on the toilet. gerd l.kolovoz 2013great location and the first place after the german lower rhine area where it is worth staying.in germany you are looking for something comparable in this region.it takes some getting used to the type of sani huts...strange concept,but clean...no hot water for rinsing!the tourist meadow is unorganized... and shadeless,but is well located to the nature reserve and super nice beach with holland typical beach stall....you don't notice anything of the permanent campers.they seem to be set in concrete in their plots.unattractive! the operator is first class:helpful,friendly,communicative.the location to the rhine is perfect.the cycle paths,together with cycling possibilities offer inexhaustible.worthwhile also the way to tolkamer on the inner-city rhine dam,where you can sit perfectly and enjoy the boat traffic or sunset with a drink.2km over the border you get that real Dutch feeling.Automatski prevedeno.

No regular cleaning in the low season. The best thing there is the lake or arm of the Rhine. You can go there by boat, there is also a fast section for... water skiing etc. There is a slipway in the marina. The beach is nice and shallow, really great for children. The operator is very nice and helpful. There you will find a tennis court, self-service market and a bar where you can also eat something.Automatski prevedeno.
