- Ursula R.July 2015Dobre straneGood location for excursions to Dartmoor. Adventure playground for children.Location to Dartmoor. Adventure courseThis campsite is located on the edge of Dartmoor (near Holne Park House), which is very convenient for excursions into Dartmoor. The access road is a bit narrow (bridge over the River Dart), but doable. We stayed at this campsite for three nights in July 2015. Price per night: GBP 25 in the middle season.... The pitches are well sized. There is a large adventure pitch here. The River Dart flows right next door. The barrier to the CP closes at 11 pm. Free Wi-Fi at the kiosk/restaurant. The restaurant is fully licensed, you can get beer/spirits there. The sinks are outside but covered.Automatski prevedeno.
- Andreas und Petra S.May 2015Beautiful park directly on the River DartLarge, very well-kept campsite with huge, ancient trees. Largely flat, very generously sized grass pitches, with gravelled pitches for motorhomes. In mid-May we paid 17.50 for a pitch including electricity. Dogs are charged 3.50 each. Good dog walk area available. The toilets are relatively new and very... clean in the low season. But there are also very few guests on the site. The paths are poorly lit at night. We felt very comfortable here and would come here again if we were ever in the area.Automatski prevedeno.
- Walter B.July 2011Adventure playground with camping area or vice versa. No matter how you look at it. The idyllic campsite is ideal for children with climbing ambitions and a thirst for adventure. The sanitary facilities seem to be of English standard, but compared to other campsites on the island, they are clean, odorless... and maintained daily. The main building has a pub with an arcade room and an acceptable store where all kinds of emergency purchases can be made. WiFi in the pub is free and worked for me. If you are sociable, you should book during the English vacation season. There was relatively little going on during the week because there was still school in England at the beginning of July. Our 11 and 12 year olds hardly made any friends - it was only no problem at the weekend. We were traveling with a tent but the approx. 1.5 miles from the A38 to the campsite are partly "single track". We were thrilled. The lush green of the meadows, the unexpectedly good weather (-> sunburn!) and the extensive area with its many possibilities took us almost 4 days. We easily spent the rest of the week on day trips to the surrounding area (Haytor Rocks with free-range horses, Plymouth Aquarium, Buckfastleigh Abbey and Otter Farm etc.). Simply great.Automatski prevedeno.
- Alexander K.May 2010Fantastic park area with great adventure playgrounds for children. Pitches on grass and gravel. Quiet nature all around, very nice walks possible on the site. Good restaurant and store on site. Helpful staff. Sanitary facilities rather below standard. Access road not very wide, but ok for England. I would visit again at any time!Automatski prevedeno.
