Ok as a stopover for one day
We are certainly doing the place an injustice. But our impression is: just close everything off and on. Take your shoes inside and keep your ears open at night. There's a lot going on around the campsite during the day. However, despite the main road, it is quite quiet. If you don't get anything else, as we did, absolutely ok for one night, but really nothing more. Minimal catering. Heinecken in a 0.25 l bottle 2.5€.

Quiet, easily accessible, modern sanitary facilities, huge supermarket (Carrefour) around the corner, fish market

Suitable for a short visit to Normandy
We spontaneously looked for a pitch in Normandy at the beginning of August 2017 and found it here. Despite being close to the main road, the site was pleasantly quiet. The pitches are large. The sanitary facilities seemed to be in a bit of a state of flux. The northern bathhouse was relatively new and... clean. The missing toilet seats took some getting used to. There is a fish market just down the road along the canal to the beach (800m). The operator's pictures are a little deceptive. It is not the case that the beach is easily accessible on foot with bath towels.
