"Very well-kept quiet place - The peace and quiet and the experience of nature. The helpful host couple. The lovingly maintained place. Exactly what we were looking for to get away from the stress of everyday life. If you're looking for action, you have to do it yourself. Birdsong and the babbling brook are the sounds that accompany you throughout the day. You can hardly hear anything from the nearby thoroughfare at the back. Sensitive people may be disturbed by the high-voltage power lines that unfortunately run across the site. The sanitary buildings are getting on in years, but are well maintained and clean. I was irritated by the fact that they are shared by men and women. What really bothered me was that the showers and toilets are not separate. All in all, we spent a lovely and very relaxing 3 weeks here.

The Sites & Paysages Au Clos de la Chaume campsite is a ten-minute drive from Lake Gérard, not far from the village of Corcieux. The campsite is located on a stream, has a swimming pool and is an ideal starting …point for excursions to Alsace, the Vosges and Lorraine. The campsite has large, flat pitches measuring around 100 m2. The luxury pitches are even larger and have water and electricity hook-ups. If you would like to camp on a luxury pitch, we recommend booking well in advance. For holidaymakers with a camper van, there is a paved, flat area with a point for water intake and drainage. The children can play happily in the little river. For a change, there is also a heated covered swimming pool and an open-air swimming pool. Is the whole family exhausted from playing and swimming? Then you can relax on the sunbathing lawn. Along the stream that runs through the campsite, activities such as boat races and dam building are organised. In July and August, children can visit the mini-club on Tuesday mornings. Here, everything revolves around nature, from short hikes to building a squirrel house. A special activity is stargazing. The campsite is located in the middle of nature and is therefore the ideal place to observe special celestial phenomena. Once a week, a mountain guide organises a starry evening.
