René W.kolovoz 2023Dobre straneBeautiful natureNegativne straneRule-loving campsite with a house banWe have never experienced anything like it.The term "open fire" is used here to refer not only to the classic campfire, but also to charcoal barbecues, candles, lanterns and camping gas stoves, which, incidentally, may not be used up to 100 meters above the forest boundary.
We weren't looking for a fight and didn't have a barbecue or anything... else. We actually wanted to spend a quiet evening. As always, we had 3 tea lights in an 18 cm high glass container on our table. And that was even in the beach area. We weren't standing under any trees.
A permanent camper with the right of domicile picked us out and made a huge fuss, pointing out the ban on open fires, called the police and ordered us to leave. Because of 3 mosquito tea lights! As a camper, you hardly have any rights here and have to bow to the arbitrariness of individual permanent campers. So be careful. Electricity, water nearby, you can do without TV if tall trees make satellite reception impossible, and preparation is an advantage when planning a bike tour. Without Wi-Fi... and Edge as the highest transmission rate, a map in the cell phone has loaded overnight. As signposts are in short supply in the woods around the campsite and there was no internet connection or it was constantly interrupted, the tours were a little longer and less fun. Only approx. 10km from Lübben.Gladly againWe had a great Ascension weekend, even if the site was very full and therefore quite overloaded. For us, this also explains the temporary state of the sanitary facilities, which is really forgivable given the crowds. The staff are super nice and try to make everything possible. Otherwise quiet and a real camping feeling....camping like it used to be! If you can do without luxury, separate and graveled pitches, this is the right place for you....even if it's sandy... or dusty! This is the real camping! We are glad that such simple pitches still exist and hope that it will remain so relaxed for a long time to come! In case of too much noise in the evening or unteachable campers who have to barbecue even when the forest fire warning level is high, the site staff should check more strictly and act if necessary!Automatski prevedeno.

Unfortunately loud "camper friends" at night. The lake is certainly very beautiful in good weather! Departure the next day. Pitch under conifers very sandy, but right on the lake. - Katja S.kolovoz 2017our experience there with 3 dogsI have to say I was very disappointed when we arrived there with our 3 dogs. I had asked beforehand if it was okay with dogs which was confirmed. When we got there we were told AFTER we had paid that dogs were ONLY allowed on a lead and not on the beach! That's understandable when it's busy... but what... am I supposed to do on the campsite if you can't even have fun with your dogs... then it's better to say dogs not allowed. It's no fun for humans or dogs. After 5 days we left and drove to a campsite that is dog friendly and there is even a dog beach. The sanitary facilities were littered with dead mosquitoes that hadn't even been removed from the walls after 5 days. Although there wasn't much going on! The sanitary building is as good as new, but is only cleaned superficially and too rarely. Groups of tents/groups that fill the site with noise until the morning - that's a no-go for us. Kiosk/snack bar (independent of the campsite) only opens... when the weather is nice. (but bread service after pre-order from 8 to 9 o'clock) Otherwise no infrastructure (next in Lübben - 9 km). Mostly shady pitches under conifers on sandy ground. Conclusion: A day trip to swim in the Briesensee YES, camping there again NO!Automatski prevedeno.

The lake is clean and has a nice long sandy beach, which was also clean. Nevertheless, good accessibility by car and bicycle.Negativne straneCampsite operator is not on site at night and cannot be reached, so the night's rest is not enforced.It could have been very nice...Wonderfully situated campsite in the countryside on a beautiful lake. The best pitches are right on the lakeshore. No store on site, but at least there were fresh bread rolls every day at the beach kiosk. Unfortunately, the campsite was completely overcrowded at Whitsun 2017. The wash house, although... relatively new, reached its limits and was too small and too spartan for a new building (only four showers and four washbasins + one children's washbasin, no washing cubicles, only two sockets). But you could take unlimited showers. Biggest annoyance: the campsite operator is not interested in a good night's sleep. Supposedly he can't do anything except talk and disappear. So the party went on for three days and nights until the police arrived. A real shame, the campsite would really be a tip, but if you can't even hear nature when you're camping in nature...!Automatski prevedeno.

Now that we had found out that they had been rebuilt, we decided to try again over Whitsun. Unfortunately, we were disappointed again. Although there are new sanitary facilities, the... rest is catastrophic. Caravans are lined up close together on a paved pitch that is far too small. We were told in a rather unfriendly manner that we would have to park our car somewhere else as this is not permitted next to the caravan. There would be more campers. The sanitary facilities looked catastrophic in the evening. Paper bins were overflowing with paper. Floors very dirty due to weather storage. The kitchen didn't look very inviting in terms of cleanliness either. But I have to mention that some campers are real pigs. We looked in vain for bins to dispose of garbage in the social building. We then found these in the permanent campers' area. There is no signage for this. Water taps are also rare. There are only a few electricity boxes on the whole site. You need meter-long cables and have to lay them across the site. These are real sources of stress. You will look in vain for a bread delivery service. The nearest supermarket is 10 km away. There is a snack kiosk on the pitch, but it is also quite inflexible. We don't know why we had to pay 3 euros per day for the dog. You won't find any dog waste bags or bins. We were very disappointed and will definitely not be back. There are better campsites in the Spreewald.Automatski prevedeno.
