Top place on the highway
We were on a stopover at the campsite for one night. The site is ideal for this and for sightseeing in Glasgow. It is right next to the A725 highway. You can also hear this clearly at the site. You can hear a constant roar. It didn't bother us too much as we were only here to sleep and are "city kids"... ourselves. But if you want to spend a longer vacation here and sit outside in front of the caravan, it could be annoying. The reception was very friendly and you can choose your own pitch. The pitches are all generously laid out, the surface is gravelled and absolutely level. There is very well-kept grass between the pitches. As there are hardly any trees, SAT reception is guaranteed. There is also a TV connection at the electricity column (no SAT!). As is usual in the UK, the caravan must be parked in the middle of the pitch and the car next to it (for fire safety reasons). The sanitary facilities are very modern, clean and spacious. TOP! Showers are free of charge. There is no wifi. For dog owners there is a spacious area outside the campsite where you can walk your dog and let it run free. We paid 23 pounds for two adults, two dogs, caravan, car and electricity (incl.). This is absolutely ok for what is on offer. We can recommend the site for stopovers.

Ideal starting point for a trip to Glasgow. Very well maintained and very friendly at the reception since the new operator has completely redesigned everything, including the underground.
