Great camp not only for the quality but also for its extent.... For children a cakewalk for parents a bloodletting....
Only downside for me who own a furry, the fact yes that there are walks for them, but the nn being able to take them with us owners to walk x the campsite especially in the evening,sorry

Perfect Italy vacation
We were here for the first time and it is the first campsite that we will definitely visit again soon! We were completely captivated by the flair and atmosphere of this campsite! However, some things like the sanitary facilities need to be renewed, the outside has already been renovated. They are extremely... clean as it feels like they are constantly being cleaned but you can just tell that the plumbing is old and used up and there is always a bit of a "smell". The old pool area should generally be renovated as there are also considerable safety deficiencies there due to broken floors etc. I'm curious to see what it will look like next year.

The aqua parks are hardly usable due to overcrowding, some of the pitches are very uneven, the restaurants are not particularly good (mass processing) During the day there is a lot of noise all over the campsite, even at lunchtime, but at night it is quiet.

We were there for the first time and it was the worst vacation for us so far.
The aqua parks are nice but far too small and constantly overcrowded.
The whole place seems crammed to the last corner.
The restaurants are mediocre at best.
The entertainment program in the evening is sometimes very annoying.... e.g. 3 days in a row Rock....
Waiting in line mutates into a permanent occupation at this place.
The friendliness of the staff on arrival and departure leaves a lot to be desired.
This is a lot of complaining and just our opinion, but we have been to much better places for much less money.

Unfortunately getting on in years
Unfortunately, the campsite did not meet our expectations.
Even if the aquaparks etc. seem large, they are too small for the number of people on the site.
Our wash house (no. 3) was getting on in years. It often smelled of sewers.
The food in the restaurants was not particularly good. Here, too, you... get the impression of mass processing. The exception is the pizzas, which were really delicious!
During the shows at Plaza Lido, you can't see anything at all if you have a seat a little further back and again everything was completely overcrowded.
The amusement park is quite nice, but far too expensive.
The gym is also far too small for the number of people and also too expensive. There are free facilities at other campsites...

Conclusion: Unfortunately not a 5-star place for me... There are many places that have much more included and are not so crowded.

Basically, it was just a few little things, nothing that needs to be mentioned publicly. However, the two swimming pools have clearly reached their limits in terms of visitor capacity.
Great as always!
It is not for nothing that almost all vacationers return there year after year.

The site is ideally located for further excursions by bike or bus (bus stop right outside the door).

This site is an absolute hit, especially for children (of all ages).

We can only recommend this campsite and look forward to hopefully further innovations and investments in the campsite in 2024 and will be back!

Great family campsite
For us as a family with three children, this was a fantastic place for a 10-day pool and beach vacation. The pool facilities, the beach, the entertainment and the evening entertainment are very impressive. The restaurants are good and the prices are reasonable. Of course, you have to be aware that there... is mass tourism here (and this applies to the entire Jesolo peninsula). If you want a relaxing time at the pool and beach and great facilities and top organization around the entire campsite, this is the place for you.
We think the frequently described separation of dog owners into their own part of the campsite is very good. In fact, there are no dogs on the entire general site, only in the designated area.

The safety and facilities for children (3-14) are very good. You can actually have the children safely everywhere. Restaurants. Services, stores.

Family camping
The Union Lido is really a top address for families with children from 0-14 years, from animation to evening entertainment, shows and concerts very good! The concerts were once again our highlight, for the children of course the sea and the pools with slides, sand pools, ring pools. This was our third... time at the Union Lido (we're even coming back again this year) and we'll be back again next year because for us the Union simply offers the best value for money. The pitches are very well equipped, you have your privacy and despite the size of the campsite you still have your oasis of peace. The children love the Union Lido and we as parents are also satisfied every year. We hope that there will be two improvements or innovations every year. For us an absolute recommendation to families with children up to 14 years.

The Union Lido not only has a manager problem since Mr. Ballerin retired, but also a huge pigeon and magpie problem. Small songbirds are as good as extinct, pigeon droppings everywhere. I am busy every day removing the aggressive droppings from my mobile home, carpeting and awning. Children's toys, bicycles - all soiled with pigeon droppings.

I am seriously considering whether I should look for another campsite next year after more than 30 years. A campsite where managers recognize and solve problems in good time.
The quality of Union Lido has suffered greatly under the change of management.

The campsite has a lot to offer, which is why we have been coming here again and again for many years.

The pigeons have gotten out of hand in recent years. Our motorhome is covered in droppings every day, as are the neighbors' cars and caravans, the children's buggies and their toys lying outside. As the droppings from these birds are very aggressive, we have to remove them from the vehicle every day.

The restaurant at Doc Camp is very good and friendly.

You are totally segregated at the Doc Camp and there is no real walking path with the dog unless you go out the back exit which leads directly onto the busy main road. It is forbidden to walk your dog through the campsite. The campsite lighting only worked for the first two days and was not repaired until our departure despite being reported. The dog beach is a joke and dogs should be kept on a lead.
Once Union Lido but never again.
We were at the Union Lido in the Doc Camp. The access road to the pitch was very muddy after the rain and the grass was not mowed about 10 cm high. The private bathroom that belongs to the pitch was fairly new but not properly equipped so that in bad weather the room remains very damp and does not dry... as there is no heating. There is also no public sanitary building on the Dog Camp.
From our point of view this campsite does not even deserve 4 stars.

Very beautiful grounds in terms of vegetation. Lots of flowers, shrubs, trees and small ponds. The children's entertainment is also very good. (if you don't have a pitch on the other side) Lots of good restaurants with a varied selection.

Unfortunately, the two aqua parks are very outdated and are partly unkempt and outdated compared to other campsites in this area. Due to the size of the site, a bicycle or scooter (not e-scooter) is essential, but unfortunately you can't rent one here on site. The opening hours of the stores are not ideal.
Unfortunately, the space has deteriorated in recent years.
We have now been to the UnionLido for the 7th year in a row. There are so many positive things to say about the place...
But unfortunately there are more negative experiences.
This time we were accommodated in the area of wash house "W1". It's almost 1 km on foot from our pitch to the playground, and... even further to the Laguna Aquapark. Practically no possibility to send the children (5+7) to the playground on their own.
Of course there is a lot on offer at the campsite, but there was practically nothing for our children to do in the immediate vicinity that they could have explored on their own.
Unfortunately, you can only choose a pitch category when booking, but not an area. The site is 1.2 km long, so practically anything is possible. At other campsites I can choose my pitch directly when booking, which would be nice if that were also possible at UnionLido.
Due to the size of the campsite, I would definitely recommend taking a bike with you. Unfortunately, this is not possible for all vacationers. Although there is a bike rental service on site, they only offer expensive e-bikes. Just under 120 euros per week. The MDV is also better at this. Here, a simple bike costs 26.50 euros a week and can be rented directly on site.
Another annoying thing is the lunch break from 12:30 to 16:30, when the stores are closed. Other places in the neighborhood do this better.
But now to my main point of criticism. And that is the two AquaParks and some of the wash houses. Some of these are in a miserable state. The Aquapark Marino is long past its best years. The children's area is covered with a rubber mat. This now has huge holes where the bare metal can be seen. This loose rubber granulate can be found everywhere in the pool.
It's a similar picture at Aquapark Laguna, which is a few years younger.

We have often been to this beautiful place and have always enjoyed it very much. But this year we were simply shocked at what this campsite has become. First of all, the site has claimed a price increase of almost 25% in the last two years. I think that's a lot, especially as nothing has changed. On... the contrary, the entertainment has become less. I think staff have been cut back. What struck us very negatively, however, was the fact that there was no peace and quiet on the campsite. There was no peace and quiet at lunchtime or in the evening, nor were the children's shouting and wild chases through the wash houses stopped. We also know that the parents are primarily responsible for the children. But if they don't care, I as the site manager have to stop it and tell the parents to pay attention. If it still doesn't work, you can definitely issue a ban. The best example was when the announcement came shortly before 1 p.m. that the midday quiet period must be observed and at 1:30 p.m. the caravans drove onto the empty pitches and started to set up. Last year we waited outside in the parking lot until 3 p.m. before we were let in. That's the right way. That's what you call respect. Nevertheless, it is a very nice place with lots of possibilities. Maybe it will change for the better in the next few years.

Reception very unfriendly, from 23.00 normal conversations were no longer possible (immediate warning from security), with dog only the last area of the place to use.
Great place, very limited with a dog
The fact that we were not allowed to use the main path with the dog on a lead was very restrictive. Leashes are also compulsory on the dog beach.
The security staff were out and about from 11.00 p.m. and prohibited any conversation. I would understand if the volume was too loud. But normal conversation without music should be possible and is part of a vacation.

water very cloudy, always huge jellyfish on the beach, think the place is overrated. after a year of pre-reservation for a venezia plus place we found ourselves at the garbage cans. after a week we were allowed to swap. great. we went swimming in the tiny pool in the doc camp because the crowds there... were very humane. all the other pools were hopelessly overcrowded.we stood at the wash house 6 where night rest was a foreign word. several regulations like no scooters with hard rubber tires is simply nonsense because nobody sticks to it. how could we? we will not come back. there are far better places on the headland and also cheaper ones. although that is not the main reason. if the area again then meditteraneo 10 min away.
