Ogliastro - older campsite
very old campsite, quiet, toilets and showers basically outside in the cabins, no el. sockets, only hookups for a fee in the area is a shop too not recommend due to toilets and lack of el. outlets

Wonderful beach, beautiful pitches in the lower area, great for a vacation with a dog!

Good location, great beach, otherwise average
At first glance (pitches in the upper area) dusty, uneven, noisy (from the road). The lower area is completely different - beautiful pitches on a meadow under trees at the edge of a paddock. Adventurous but beautiful path to the beautiful natural beach of Ostriconi (approx. 10 min walk), great for dogs... too, the walk is included... I have to wonder about a comment below, someone said that the many dogs at the campsite would attract flies (???!) Market, restaurant, small pool, children's playground - everything is fine! But the sanitary facilities are old, run-down and not clean either...:-(

- quite a long distance to the next larger town - sometimes you don't want to swim in the sea because of all the seaweed shreds
Pure nature
If you are looking for rest and relaxation on a campsite away from the hustle and bustle of the Corsican vacation centers, this is the place for you. We had rented a bungalow for a week, but would have found enough space and shade for our house tent here at the end of August/beginning of September. The... most remote corner is ideal for campers, offering spacious pitches in the middle of the surrounding pastures and the wild expanse of the Corsican countryside. The campsite is kept meticulously clean and the (partly German-speaking) ladies at reception are very concerned about the well-being of their guests (keyword: printing out the e-boarding cards). The restaurant offers a good selection of deliciously prepared dishes at really fair prices. The four of us never spent more than EUR 70. Incidentally, you also have free WLAN access there. We would go there again at any time.

great location to the dream beach - that's it.
We were on the site for 4 nights at the end of June; the upper part of the site is a large, slightly sloping, natural area with sparse shade from windswept eucalyptus trees, lower vegetation (olives) to the side with some good shade for tents and smaller motorhomes. A central, run-down sanitary building.... Only the ladies' area was open, probably to save on cleaning. The toilets were sporadically sprayed with water, that was it. No power sockets on the mirrors - these were only available in the (closed!) men's area. No urinals - they were only in the (closed!) men's area, but there were plenty of standing urinals ... well. No hot water at the washbasins and sinks, hot showers with no settings. Out of 6 showers, 4 worked, so there were waiting times towards the evening. Laundry had to be washed in the basins where dishes are also washed - we don't have a bath with us on the motorcycle! So everything was rather unappetizing. Electricity is only available centrally at the sanitary building; no site lighting, no electricity boxes. The lower part of the site is a flat meadow with a few trees and wild hedges on both sides - but then very long distances to the sanitary facilities. Restaurant/pizzeria on site, well-stocked supermarket with local products and chilled drinks, wine, beer. Picco-bello-clean swimming pool, cleaned daily, next to the restaurant, which hardly anyone used. Free WiFi at the bar. The campsite benefits from the beach, which can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. Footpath past fields, a floating bridge leads over the freshwater inlet, then there is another knee-deep spot to wade through towards the beach. Unsuitable for baby carriages. Beach with beautiful rocks to the side for snorkeling and a great dune landscape with vegetation behind it - we always had peace and quiet in the dunes. As the beach faces west towards the open sea, large amounts of seaweed can wash up in windy weather, which (natural beach!) are not removed. It didn't bother us that much. Nudism is occasionally practiced on the beach. The many dogs on the site didn't bother us because they were mostly well behaved. You could make more of the place if you wanted to. After exploring the area, we were happy to move on.

Camping close to the dream beach
Good campsite near a dream beach, which can be reached on foot in 700m. Sanitary old but relatively clean: Attention: washbasin and toilet bowl are cleaned with the same cleaning cloth.

Rating is only valid for the first 2 weeks of September, 5 stars are only given for optimal conditions. The site is divided into an upper and lower part. The upper was still well populated, in the lower it was o.k., but the paths were rel. long.take long power cables. Good place for dog owners, we always... had them on the pitch without a leash (otherwise of course not). There are 3 well-behaved Aussies. People - clean up after your dogs!!! We found a few piles - you only harm yourself. It's about 300 meters to the beach (nice path) and then you have to wade through the East Coni. The beach itself was well frequented, but on the banks of the river (also a sandy beach) it was great - no one was there because everyone was on the beach, great bathing opportunity, also for the dogs. The camping store was only stocked with the essentials, but there were sweet pastries and good baguettes. There is a restaurant, well attended, but we can't judge it because we didn't visit it. The reception was very friendly, English-speaking and once also German. Conclusion - we would visit this place again at any time (except in the high season - like everyone else). Almost forgotten (important for us): quiet place.

Very nice campsite
Very nice campsite. Wonderful path to the natural beach. You have to wade through a river here, but that's what makes the path so interesting. Nice staff, everything clean.

The site is close to a beautiful beach, on the way you have to wade through a river (all very natural and beautiful). There are very nice open air sanitary facilities (many), a good restaurant (always well attended), and swimming pool for the children. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for nature lovers.

Beautiful campsite situated on a wonderful bay. Staff super friendly, food very good. Pitches are not separated, long cable necessary for power supply
