The chemical emptying was defective, and not only recently, you had to make his emptying at the motorhome disposal place, outdoors on open space in front of the terrace of the restaurant. The places are either on the meadow full in the sun or between permanent campers.Vacation 7 days 2024The only thing I can praise is their homepage, which is better than the original.Automatski prevedeno.
Nadine T.July 2024Dobre straneThe campsite is in the forest and a stream runs past it, which was a welcome refreshment for the children. Nearby is the Waldkugelbahn and a natural outdoor pool. The site is clean and quiet. The operators are child-friendly and very nice people. The playground is new and there is something for all ages.Negativne straneIf you need cell phone reception, you won't find it here, but there is free Wi-Fi near the reception and a charge for the rest of the site. The showers are a little cramped for showering with children, but a renovation of the sanitary facilities is planned.Perfect vacation with childrenWe spent a wonderful two weeks here. From here we were able to start hiking tours, spend a lazy day in the outdoor pool with the children, play a round on the marble run in the evening, the children had everything they needed and so did we. Many beautiful sights are easy to reach from here. There are... many child-friendly tours and themed trails in the region, including local or geocaching for children. You can get information about this a short distance away in Grafenhausen. As tent users, we thought the lockable fridge compartments were great. This meant we could store things better and didn't have to plan shopping so often. Host and team so very friendly, helpful and polite. Food in restaurant is exceptional and the host was knowledgeable with the schnapps....but be warned its potent. Clean tidy shower/toilet block and a very handy washing machine and dryer on site. Fresh bread can be ordered the day before and its something I highly recommend.

They were actually rather small weekend houses that weren't always nice to look at. The showers were spotlessly clean, but very cramped and there were really no hooks!Rest and relaxationWe were unlucky with the weather, which is no one's fault. The meadow was not passable when we arrived, and the allocated pitches by the sanitary block were very soft.
It's easy to hike from the site, and Basel and other beautiful towns are not far away.

The food in the Waldschenke is very tasty and the newly built playground is in a great location, right next to the restaurant. The KugelWaldPfad, Naturena Badesee and Gasthof Tannenmühle are within easy walking distance.

Camping is always a highlight for our children (aged 6 and 9) anyway. This time, too, we were able to enjoy a great weekend. In addition to total peace and quiet on the campsite, we were able to experience a beautiful starry sky in the... evening. During the day we went to the Naturena swimming lake, which was perfect for cooling off. With our stay at the campsite, we were even able to visit the Naturena bathing lake free of charge.
The campsite is surrounded by forest, making it the perfect place for a break.

It is a small, cozy campsite with very nice, helpful operators. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but very clean.
The food in the Waldschenke is excellent. Every week a part of the menu, grandma's pot and the focaccias are changed. There's something for everyone, and the homemade cakes are amazing.
