- Markéta L.August 2020PozitívumokI don't see them.NegatívumokDon't be mad at me, but don't come here!!!Campeggio EtnaI think we're here by mistake or I don't understand anymore. Noise, loud locals. Drunk, I think! And the Turkish radio. They turned it off after 11:00. I don't know why I should come back here, let alone stay another night! When asked where we're from. We replied that we were from the Czech Republic. The lady at the front desk, yes from Czechoslovakia. Pretty arrogant yet stupid.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Barbara & Rudi O.May 2018PozitívumokThe area in general is very nice, but could be expanded. Nicely shaded and spacious pitchesNegatívumokSanitary and public building (reception). No information for Etna excursions, etc.Mohamed is the pearl of the CPWe feel really sorry for the poor groundsman. If Mohamed hadn't been so friendly, we would have turned back immediately. Unfortunately, he can't do anything for this place, he does his best by helping where he can and even explains how this old-fashioned shower works, that you can get hot water for 1.00... euro. He helps you park your car, shows you where the bus station is and even tries to recommend a restaurant in the village. If we had asked, he would have somehow got a pizza for us. However, there are plenty of instructions to be found, including one that says "civilized people know how to leave a pitch clean". All good if the sanitary facilities were also in a civilized state. That's the only way to make it no worse than it already is. Dear site operators, owners or managers, why don't you put your money where your mouth is and tear down the dark building and build something more up to date! You have a great site with beautiful pitches and barbecue facilities, so why not invest in the sanitary and public areas? With electricity and hot showers you charge 27,00 Euro for your offer! No possibility to buy anything, the village is 2 km away, no snack bar, nothing on site! We would like to thank Mohamed again for making this 1 day bearable for us.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Jörg T.September 2017Pozitívumokbeautiful location, lots of shade, nice operatorNegatívumokloud dog barking all night long, shower only against coin insertionnice campsite, but dogs roaring all nightAnyone hoping that the campsite is located directly at the foot of Mount Etna in unspoiled nature will soon be disabused of their hopes. The campsite is located in a suburb of Nicolisi and for tours around Mount Etna it is a good hour's drive by car. The campsite is still in a beautiful location, but... it is impossible to sleep. Feral dogs bark almost continuously throughout the night in the vicinity of the campsite. Some Italian CVamping guests also have their own dogs with them and let them run around the site, which amplifies the barking of the feral dogs outside. There is no snack bar, just a bar where you can only buy drinks. A snack bar or restaurant is also not within walking distance, although a walk would not really be advisable because of the feral dogs. However, you can order something to eat on the campsite from the friendly operator. Water in the shower - even cold water - is only available for a coin, and you have to have 1 euro to hand. Some of the coin-operated appliances are faulty.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Andreas K.July 2017Pozitívumoksmall, quiet, uncomplicated, with swimming pool, no animationNegatívumokLots of dogs, but all on a lead and no noise.Familiar, friendly, quiet and small halfway to EtnaThe place was open, although no one answered our previous request by phone or email. Very informal, helpful. Characterized by permanent campers. Small site without entertainment just before the end of the cul-de-sac. The swimming pool is public and is sometimes used by local children (groups), but this... was not a problem for us. There is no entertainment in the area, but the campsite is located in an "excursion area": families met on the street for dinner, sometimes a noisy motorcycle passed by, otherwise it is just quiet. We liked it with 2 children. Plenty of shade and space for the tent. We successfully escaped the heat in the valley here, any time again.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- R.F.P. S.July 2017PozitívumokBeautiful location against the volcano Etna. The lava fields are 3.5 km away.NegatívumokVery bad plumbing. Sinks, faucets and showers can go right into the construction and demolition waste.Review dated 01-07-2017From a distance, the campground makes a nice impression, but once you get there, you discover some problems. One sticking point is the plumbing. The showers did not function and the plumbing is in poor conditionAutomatikusan lefordítva.
- Christian O.August 2010Very friendly, Angelo (site manager ;-)) speaks several languages, transportation to Etna can be arranged for a small fee (incl. many interesting explanations), therefore also very suitable for motorhomes. This site is very suitable as an overnight stop or for 2 to 7 days. Children will enjoy the swimming pool and the play facilities.Automatikusan lefordítva.
