- Andreas B.June 2021PozitívumokCamping La Focette is not far awayNegatívumokNo statement possibleDo not start, probably closed foreverWe drove to the site with a caravan. As the gate was locked, we rang the bell as instructed on a note. The caravan was parked with its rear end on the busy road. But no one answered. We had to reverse back onto the SS114 and drove to the next site: la focette, 5 km further north.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Thomas H.June 2021Pozitívumokbeautiful locationNegatívumoknarrow, steep drivewayunfortunately closed, probably forever....The whole area is pretty overgrown and with the notice at the entrance, the campsite is probably closed for 2021. Hopefully that will change...Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Walther G.August 2019Pozitívumokclean facility, great cook in the restaurantNegatívumoknone foundsuper placeVery friendly staff, nearest supermarket approx. 2km away, very suitable for excursions, sandy beach, stones in the sea after 3 meters, very good restaurantAutomatikusan lefordítva.
- Viktoria H.May 2018PozitívumokLocation, cleanliness, value for money in the low seasonNegatívumokNoisy road / railroad line, dirty beach, very sleepy in low seasongood with some compromisesWe stayed at the campsite in early season in May to visit Taormina. The location of the campsite was ideal for this. It takes fifteen minutes by car to get to Taormina's parking garage, and there is also an hourly bus service to the city right at the entrance to the campsite. First of all, the positive... aspects: the site is very well maintained, the pitches are spacious and we were able to choose the one that suited us best. The sanitary facilities are very clean at all times of the day and the showers with hot water work without tokens (which is rather unusual in Sicily). Hot water is even available for washing up. The campsite is located directly on the beach, which is quite stony and unfortunately also quite dirty. There are much nicer beaches in Sicily. The road and the train line are directly above the campsite and are clearly audible day and night. The restaurant is fine. Due to the low season, the price was great (17 euros per night with the Sicilia Camping Card), but almost everything is still asleep here (although the site was relatively well frequented) - pool still closed - children's playground still closed - mini market still closed (although water, wine etc. is sold on request) - washing machine broken (it is questionable anyway that a campsite of this size only has one washing machine for guests). All in all, we felt comfortable here for three days. Ideal for visiting Taormina and Mount Etna. For a longer vacation, however, this campsite would not be for us.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Thomas R.May 2018Beautiful campsite right on the garbage beachBeautifully laid out Campbell pitch directly on the beach (which is unfortunately very dirty). Sanitary facilities are good and clean, staff friendly to a certain extent and the shopping facilities only in the next town about 1.5 km by carAutomatikusan lefordítva.
- Friedhelm J.June 2017PozitívumokLocation to Taormina and EtnaIdeal location for sightseeing Taormina and Monte EtnaThe site is right by the sea and the coastal road; it's just under 10 minutes by scooter to Taormina. Pitches partly with natural shade, sanitary facilities okay for Sicily. We visited the restaurant once - that was enough for us. There are many good and reasonably priced restaurants in the immediate... vicinity (nearest town). The family running the campsite doesn't really show much commitment to the guests - we have experienced this differently in Sicily.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Richard M.April 2017PozitívumokConvenient location to Taormina and Mount Etna. Many pitches with sea view.NegatívumokNoneSuper place by the seaThe site offers medium-sized, partly shady pitches, good sanitary facilities, swimming pool, children's playground, good restaurant with reasonable prices, and sea with gray sandy beach and clear water. The coastal road is a little higher and was noticeable in April but not disturbing. The train is of... course much louder, but runs at low frequency and obviously not at all at night. The cleanliness of the pitch and sanitary facilities is good. In April I assume the staff was just the family and a cook, whereby the senior manager is a very busy and extremely nice lady.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Mario G.June 2016PozitívumokOn the sea, new and clean bathrooms, kind and helpful staffNegatívumokIt is not in the village and you need to take bus to get around or have private vehicleAll excellentWe stayed at Paradise in June and had a great time. Clean campground, new and clean bathrooms, helpful staff, good restaurant, on the sea with a view of Calabria. Very close to Taormina. ExcellentAutomatikusan lefordítva.

- Stefan H.May 2012The campsite is located directly between the SS114 and the beach. There is a bus stop directly in front of the campsite, so you can get to Taormina very quickly. However, the road is audible, at least during the day. The site itself is well-kept and the sanitary facilities are good and clean. The access... road to the campsite is a bit narrow and steep - motorhomes over 3.50m in height have no chance, but only notice this almost at the end of the approach before a bridge. The beach is fine and the campsite's own restaurant can be recommended.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Arnulf S.September 2011Ideal as a starting point for Taormina. Bus station 100m. Overnight costs cheaper than parking fee in Taormina (WOMO). CP directly on the railroad therefore disturbed night's sleep. Sanitary facilities must have been a dream at one time, an addition of the missing fittings would be great (was at the end of the season). Food on site OK. Pebble beach.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Franz-Josef E.September 2010Nice people, small pitches for our Jeunesse 540E. Especially the exit at the top of the road is tricky! We were lucky and got a place in the 1st row from a nice fellow countryman. Sanitary clean, store o.k. Well suited for tours to Aetna (unfortunately we had bad weather and zero visibility) and Taormina.Automatikusan lefordítva.
