Space to explore Zermatt
Ideal location for traveling to Zermatt by train. No permanent campers and therefore free choice of pitch. The sanitary facilities are basic and only available in small numbers. In the high season, containers with additional toilets are open.
There is no store or restaurant on the site, but there are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance.

Very international
Good location near the train station and grocery stores. Not parceled out. You stand criss-cross where there is space. Surrounded by tourists from all over Europe. Charming.

Location directly on the Glacier Express train line, Zermatt can be reached quickly by train or on foot, great starting point for hikes, shopping facilities for groceries nearby.

Sanitary facilities a little poor, but sufficient thanks to the containers.
Beautiful place in a great location
We stayed at the campsite for 3 nights and felt very comfortable. Ideal starting point for beautiful hikes. The tourist bus up to the Täschalp is also recommended.

The site is in a good location, which is why it is so popular with visitors to Zermatt. However, the toilet facilities are poor. But if it bothers you. We are coming.

Beautiful place in top location to the train
Nice place for all those who want to go to Zermatt. The campsite is just a few minutes' walk from the train station. You have a beautiful view of the mountains through the valley. The train runs frequently during the day. Only every hour at night. It didn't bother us. It really isn't that loud.

Simple and practical
Simple and functionally equipped campsite. In the main building there are two toilets and four showers for the ladies (no shower tokens are required). During our stay, the showers were cleaned once a day. If you are looking for "luxury", this is not the campsite for you. There is a second small toilet... block in the middle of the campsite. Two showers, two WCs inside, washing trough outside. The campsite is located right next to the railroad track. Those who are sensitive to noise should avoid the campsite. Depending on the rolling stock of the trains, you can hear them very well. They run 24 hours a day (once an hour at night). Uncomplicated check-in/check-out at the reception. The contact in advance by email and at reception was very pleasant. The price-performance ratio was ok for us

Well located but expensive
This pretty campsite is well located (close to the station for Zermatt), but expensive for the services and facilities on offer. 40Frs/night for two people with a VW Bus is exaggerated considering the facilities available (6 toilets for the whole campsite, that's not much). The owner is very nice and accommodating, but the reception staff is far from being in the spirit of the campers (little patience and availability!).

Well located place to Zermatt
Very well located, level site in front of Zermatt. With hiking possibilities to Zermatt from the campsite. Sanitary facilities not cleaned enough in high season. A washing trough instead of individual washbasins, something that is no longer possible today, otherwise, showers in order, negative also that there is no fencing.

The campsite is very close to the train station to Zermatt, but trains are not disturbing. The last camp before Zermatt, where you can go with your car.

Perfect location for a trip to Zermatt. Very full in August, arrive as early as possible, it usually gets crowded after 3pm. We liked it very much and will be back. Everything you need is available.
