Pitches top, location top, groundsman top, pitch operator top Ms. pitch operator -6 Disaster. Telephone contact mediocre. Attention there are 2 wash houses A new one in the middle of the square which is good. An old one at the registration which is from the 19th century....
Children's playground in the middle of the site is a disaster, but the price/performance ratio is good. Arrive and spend the rest on the beach. Never return to the registration otherwise the vacation is over. If you eat in the Schnitzel Haus you get the best food almost too good for the prices. The owner, Mr. Hinz, is a super nice guy who takes a lot of time for his guests. We had a quick chat with almost everyone every day. We felt very comfortable.
The location of the campsite is great. Right behind the dyke with all... the possibilities offered by the sea, the beach and the cycle paths.
The infrastructure of the site is kept to a minimum. The wash house at the entrance to the site is very dated. In contrast, the rear one is very new and very modern.
Fehrmarn itself is great anyway - there is so much to see, discover and visit.
The only thing that bothered us were the mosquitoes, which always came when the evening wind wasn't so strong. Then we had to retreat into the caravan, otherwise we would have been eaten.Automatikusan lefordítva.
Frank B.August 2019PozitívumokLocation directly behind the dike, friendliness, nature, small sizeNegatívumokSanitary facilities close to the limitRustic campsite in a prime location"Camping on the dyke" is absolutely apt here, the site stretches along a path with trees on one side and the dyke on the other - the only way to get closer to the water is to choose a site on the side of the dyke facing the water, which unfortunately means you have to do without trees and shrubs completely.... This one is just great, camping in the forest behind the dyke, so to speak. The welcome is friendly, the facilities are pleasantly minimalist and apart from a bread roll service (pre-order in the evening) and a "Schnitzelhaus" on site, there is nothing but peace and quiet and relaxation here. In the evening, the manager walks around the entire site, addresses everyone by name who is sitting in front of their caravan for a little chat and checks that everything is satisfactory - very pleasant. The only downside: the sanitary facilities. 2 (!) showers for the entire site, albeit a small one, is rather few. In addition, everything is very outdated and should be renovated. Everything is also always locked: the entrance door, the doors to the toilets, the doors to the washbasins, the showers, ... You go to the toilet with a total of 4 keys. Well, this is certainly the only effective measure to prevent day visitors from the beach from using the facilities permanently, but it's still not nice. Beautiful pitches partly under old pine trees. Sanitary facilities partly renovated to a top standard, partly still older but clean. Very friendly operators. Just as suitable for water sports enthusiasts as for those seeking peace and quiet. Great for surf anglers and surfers. When we arrived, we received a very warm and friendly welcome. Time stood still a little at the reception. We were able to choose from a few suggested spots. Behind us was a row of trees that protected us from the wind and sun, and the Baltic Sea was just... a few steps away. The bread roll service is great. We did not test the local gastronomy. Shopping facilities in Petersdorf, 5 km away. I would not believe the website regarding the promises of the sanitary facilities. Modern is something else and the toilet paper offered is unfortunately an imposition. So be sure to bring your own. But they were always clean. Cyclists have plenty of paths to explore and time flies by on the stand in search of chicken gods. As geocachers, we didn't get bored either. Of all the places we saw while cycling past on Fehmarn, we really like this one the best. The pictures on the website fully correspond to reality. As it was very hot this summer, we really appreciated our spot under the trees. The CP is run with a lot of love, they even do the "good night" round every evening and ask... if everything is OK. The nearest neighbor was 300 m away from us. In front of the campsite is the Baltic Sea and to the south is a nature reserve populated by numerous bird species. It's a wonder that people are still allowed to camp here (in Germany)!... In contrast to the campsites to the left and right, the number of permanent campers on this site is pleasantly low. Sanitary facilities as already described several times and problem-free in the low season. Tip: The nearest food market is quite far away. So if you want to leave the camper van parked, you should stock up on provisions beforehand. For satellite TV fans: There is a fairly dense wall of trees to the south. However, the operator has set up his own satellite dishes in the right strategic places, which can be connected to the satellite receiver for a fee. For friends of mobile I-Net: Surprisingly good Vodafone 3G reception for the area. However, you won't find Wi-Fi on the site.Automatikusan lefordítva.

- Marco M.June 2012We have been coming here several times a year since 2007. For us, my wife and I, our daughter (16) and our dog, it's always like coming home. You drive over the bridge and everything is fine. About the campsite: I don't think you'll find anything like it again in Germany. You stand here in a row of (I... guess) 70 pitches. In front of you is the sea and behind you a large lake. We now have many friends there who also spend their vacation there every year. We usually leave our table and chairs on the beach for the whole vacation (about 5 m from the water) where we have breakfast and a barbecue in the evening. Our dog is with us at all times, where else is that possible? If we are expecting a really hot night, we sometimes take a sleeping bag and sleep right by the water. If you don't overdo it with a small campfire, this is also possible. Sanitary facilities: These are not up to date. But I don't expect golden taps in the middle of nature. For me it is important that it is clean and it always has been. Restaurants nearby: There is a small restaurant (more like a snack bar) right next to the campsite where you can eat the usual things (schnitzel, currywurst, fish and salad with fried potatoes or chips) and of course there is ice cream from the freezer for the children. There are lots of places to eat on Fehmarn (our tip: visit the Greek restaurant in Burg, but make sure you book a table in advance). I could write a lot more, but I recommend that you come and see for yourself. It's worth it! Greetings from the Müller familyAutomatikusan lefordítva.
