The staff are very friendly, positive and always try to help in every way. The social facilities are always spotlessly clean and everything is continuously cleaned!
I can't imagine... better accommodation and food in the region, for the price! I come here every year, always at the beginning of the summer.
The receptionist is always a pleasure to deal with during the booking process as well as during the stay!
I wish all camps in the country were at this level.

Place is already on the lake America and goes easily up, free place well on the divided meadow pieces. The sanitary facilities were cleaned more often during the day due... to the well-filled pitch. The condition is ok for us and you can pay in euros at the restaurant and campsite. The restaurant opens at eleven and is very inexpensive by German standards and the road to Franzenbad passes the zoo. Franzensbad is easy to reach on foot or by bike. The parks are very beautiful, with several mineral fountains from which the healthy healing water gushes. The view of the lake from the caravan is wonderful. The central location of the campsite makes it easy to make beautiful excursions into the surrounding area with its interesting castles. Good restaurant right next to the reception.NegatívumokMany pitches with a very steep slope, so it can be difficult to set up a caravan properly.Excellent location for visiting Franzensbad and ChebSpring 2015 On the occasion of a trip to the Czech Republic, we stayed at this campsite for 5 days to visit Franzensbad and Cheb/Eger and the surrounding area. Opening hours: Low season 1.4. to 28.6. and 31.8. to 31.10, high season 29.6 to 30.8. The campsite is located directly on a small lake and is... not too far from Franzensbad, which can be reached on foot in about 20 to 30 minutes. In the immediate vicinity is the so-called Lesopark with a mini zoo where you can admire some of the animals. See also: http://www.camping-amerika.cz/index.php/lesopark-amerika Cheb is also nearby and can also be reached by car in approx. 15 minutes. All the necessary shopping can be done there. There is also a very tidy and reasonably priced restaurant with original Bohemian cuisine right next to the reception where you can dine well. There are other restaurants by the lake and in the small villages nearby. The campsite is very reasonably priced. See also: http://www.camping-amerika.cz/index.php/cenik The prices are quoted in Czech crowns, which corresponds to €13.20 per night for 2 people, caravan, car and tourist tax at an exchange rate of €1 to 25 crowns in the low season. For longer stays, there is a significant discount on this, so that we only had to pay 1425.00 crowns (equivalent to €57.00) for 5 nights. In addition, we only had to pay €7.92 for electricity (billed at 6 crowns per KW/H). The pitch on a meadow on a slope is newly laid out but only partially with flat pitches (especially for motorhomes). Most of the pitches are on a slope and have not been leveled. There is a completely new sanitary building with shower cubicles, washbasins and toilets, as well as a kitchen with stoves and dishwashers; hot water is available everywhere. There are also a number of huts and bungalows of various sizes. There is a lido on the lake about 200 to 300 m away, which can be used free of charge by camping guests. The sanitary facilities are clean and functional. There is nothing to complain about here. The staff at reception, the cleaning staff and the restaurant operators are very approachable, friendly and helpful. Half-heartedly cleaned in the morning, the toilet paper was already empty in the evening and the water, wherever it came from, was spread out in the... anteroom! Unfortunately, the power connections are not international standard, CEE plugs would be a better choice! The water supply is limited to one tap and the sanitary building, I did not find a gray water disposal! I enquired in advance whether we could arrive on Friday evening. The contact on the phone was very cordial. I asked if we could still get something to eat in the restaurant at this time, but we were told that the restaurant would close at 6pm. When... we arrived at 7 pm, we were asked to report to the kitchen first, because three(!) employees were still waiting for us there! What a service! The food was wonderful and the Czech beer tastes even better in the Czech Republic! The site itself is extremely clean and the staff are particularly friendly, which made our stay very pleasant. We will definitely come back again, also to use the lake for swimming and paddling in the warmer months.Automatikusan lefordítva.

The pitches are not divided, you can place yourself as you like, if space is available. Bread rolls were only available if ordered in advance.
