Achrung Alleinreisende mit Zelt! Es läuft offenbar immer nach demselben Schema ab, denn ich weiß, dass es zu dem Zeitpunkt, zu dem ich dort war, noch zwei anderen mit Zelt passiert ist: Man kommt zum Check-in. Dort ist die deutsche Eigentümerin oder deren englische Helferin... an der Rezeption und sagen einem, dass alles ausgebucht ist. Und dass der andere Campingplatz hinter der Schranke auch voll ist. Dann tun sie so, als ob sie spontan eine Idee hätten, dass man auf der Wiese hinter dem Campingplatz, neben den Toiletten und der Chemietoilette, ohne Strom,ohne Licht, ohne Abstellmöglichkeit für das Auto, sein Zelt aufbauen könnte. Als Gefallen und Notlösung. Wenn man dann nach dem Preis fragt, winken sie mit geheimnisvollem Blick ab, das wäre jetzt nicht so wichtig, man würde morgen drüber sprechen. Man solle erstmal aufbauen. Soweit so gut. Sobald man sich installiert hat, kommen sie dann mit der Keule und verlangen pro Person u Nacht 30€!! Absolute Falle. Ich musste nachdrücklich darauf bestehen, eine Quittung zu bekommen. Ich glaube, das ist deren "Taschengeldkasse". Sie tun so, als ob sie helfen wollen, aber es ich nur ein Trick! Der andere Campingplatz hinter der Schranke war übrigens absolut nicht voll. ****

Everything is neat and clean here. The pitches are a good size and there is a nice covered pool with a slide. The campsite is right next to the beautiful village of Beauvoir and for a few euros there is a shuttle service directly to Mont St. Michel. The bistro on site serves delicious chicken or pizza for little money. It is only about 2 kilometers to the shuttle bus departure point. A footpath and cycle path leads there. The sanitary facilities are of a basic standard, but were always clean and well maintained. I didn't use the swimming pool. But the cleanliness and the friendly welcome far outweighed this flaw. OK, we were right next to the pool because we got the last free pitch and it was quite noisy there during the day. But we weren't actually there during the day because there's a lot to do in the area. There is a great cycle path to the monastery island and you can... also hire bikes at the campsite. In the evening, entry to the island complex is free, but unfortunately swarms of gnats come out at dusk, so many that you can hardly avoid them (the gnats are hardly present at the campsite, however, they are only a nuisance on the beach and in the water). The sanitary facilities were excellent and so we can recommend the campsite with a clear conscience.Automatikusan lefordítva.

Very friendly, helpful operators who can give good tips for visiting Mont St. Michel (beware: huge crowds of visitors! - but interesting).
