- Francine W.April 2022PozitívumokTranquility, natural camping, hospitality of the owners, small scale, etc.NegatívumokAren't thereWonderful placeLovely place where we set up our tent before. The new owners Ronald and Vitor keep their estate so that it stays in natural state as much as possible, with not too many pitches. We love that! Add to that their perfect hospitality, friendliness, helpfulness and more. You really make it a paradise. Even the donkeys are happier than before. We will be back. Love, JanPeter and FrancineAutomatikusan lefordítva.
- Maria R.November 2021PozitívumokThe place is beautiful, very well located for those who want to discover the beauty of the region on beautiful trails or by car. The hosts are guides to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. A place not to be missed, especially for those who love contact with nature and appreciate calm and peace.NegatívumokNothing to report.Under a blanket of starsPeace, lots of beauty and two great hosts. - Gaby W.October 2021PozitívumokIdyllically situated campsite in beautiful surroundings. Friendly owners Ronald, Vito and Dushi. Good starting point for exploring the castle villages such as Marvao.NegatívumokSanitary facilities somewhat outdatedGreat surroundingsWe received a very warm welcome. In the evening at sunset, Donald sometimes plays the saxophone up on the rocks and Vito serves a delicious dinner. You can sit together under the cozy pergola and there are lively discussions.
We felt very much at home.Automatikusan lefordítva. - Alkazar H.September 2021PozitívumokNothingNegatívumokí from Lisbon, I searched for a campsite near Marvão and found Parque de campismo de Beirã. I read in the comments, most of them unpleasant towards the owner, I didn't care and thought that the sensitivity of some is not the same for all, so I decided to see and do the 200 km. I arrived, parked, and thought, I'll go and see the park, maybe it doesn't have much shade and as it's very hot and I'm already old....end, as I do in all the parks I visit for the first time. When I arrive at the reception, there's a man sitting at a table with some suppliers, he looks me up and down, and with a bored look, he mumbles "good afternoon", I look friendly and reply "hello", his countenance changes slightly for the better, but when I say in correct Portuguese, "hello good afternoon, we'd like to camp, but can we see the park?". Then the man turned into a troglodyte, and said almost in apoplexy, rolling his eyes in his chubby face: "xóver no!"You have to sign up first and then see" and then he said arrogantly "estamos xeiosssss" as if he were addressing someone despicable and disgusting. My mouth dropped open in astonishment, and I was left without an answer, thinking, after all the comments are correct, the guy came all the way from Holland, thinking that everyone here is retarded. And we are, because if a town hall or a parish accepts that some idiot has a business in tourism, to exploit, to treat badly, to trash the citizens who give him a hand, to eat and drink, with a smile on top of that, we are certainly as mentally retarded as he thinks and says. People like that don't deserve anything and don't represent the Dutch who are in Portugal with real campsites, most of whom I know. So to finish off, let this jerk pack his bags and go back to where he came from and look after the dairy cows, which is what he would do well, because running campsites is not the same as running the barn he's used to.Dutch ownerí from Lisbon, I searched for a campsite near Marvão and found Parque de campismo de Beirã. Give it another try.

- Jamie F.February 2021PozitívumokNature and campsite servicesNegatívumokNoneNature, tranquility, purity and safetyDuring our several months in Portugal, we visited the campsite at the beginning of the year. A safe shelter in the middle of nature, reason to stay some weeks.
Because we love hiking as well as mountain biking, it was a surprise for us that there right in the area, there where so many trails available... to us.
The Sanitary and other services are excellent, the pleasant an and helpfull owners had great ideas about the area they did like to share with us.Automatikusan lefordítva. - Johann H.July 2020PozitívumokCorona safety - hiking - cycling - natureNegatívumokNothing at all, the measures are very camper-friendlyReassuring welcome with Corona Prevention, safe stayWe had landed at a campsite nearby that advertised to "work according to the Safe & Clean rules". But unfortunately that wasn't true, we were shocked, they didn't carry the official Safe & Clean quality mark either.
This campsite of Annick and Ruud is 7 km away and here is a Corona prevention plan that... gave us a lot of security and of course a real peace of mind.
The pitches are very far away from each other and a lot of hygiene is done throughout the day.
We could walk and cycle and enjoyed the safe swimming pool with electrolysis treatment, which again gave safety, we still had 3 very nice weeks.Automatikusan lefordítva. - Johann K.July 2019PozitívumokThe unique nature that the campsite does not even featureNegatívumokNo negative thingsEverything complete and well maintainedWe stayed at Camping Marvao for a week, good food and nice pool. A very nice view from every pitch. Perfect surroundings for cycling and hiking. The nice owners are helpful and know a lot about the area. Hire cars from the campsite were also very handy for us. We have already booked for next winter.Automatikusan lefordítva.

- Piet en partner J.June 2019PozitívumokBeautiful Camera places, lots of space and tranquility. Superb nature.NegatívumokNone.Most beautiful Camper location in Portugal where you feel at homeWe were warmly welcomed by the managers. They like to keep the campsite in its full nature and that appeals to us enormously. Everything was in perfect order, our very spacious camper place, the nice pool to cool off, with the scooter we have thanks to the advice of Anniek and Ruud beautiful trips can make. The intended 4 days became 9.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Ruben H.June 2019PozitívumokNature, peace and comfortNegatívumokNone, we would love to come back herePleasant support from the ownersWe enjoyed the view, swimming pool, bikes to Marvao. Back nice shower in clean bathroom with very spacious cabins and rain showers. Practical guidebook in German with rules for everyone (useful for those who still have to learn to camp) and especially many pages with tips, hiking and biking trails, but... also restaurants with discounts for camping guests. We felt at home with the managers, for whom nothing is too much trouble and who can always enthusiastically tell you all about the region.Automatikusan lefordítva.

Rarely met 2 campground owners, Annick and Ruud, who are so motivated to inform their guests about really everything. That there are even some stores and restaurants with a discount sticker of Camping Beira-Marvao visible. Where do you experience that? For peace and nature seekers, hikers and cyclists a top area. - Corrado P.March 2019PozitívumokQuiet, relaxing and naturalNegatívumokFor us it had noQuiet and natural. Pure relaxation!Exactly the kind of campsite we prefer. Despite this natural idyll, you don't have to do without anything here: toilets, showers, washing-up... facilities and even a small swimming pool are available.
