The location directly opposite Locarno is great. The leisure activities are very varied (hiking, cycling ...) and easy to reach. The sanitary facilities and everything around them are not very modern, but sufficient and above all very clean. The food options are good but not exactly cheap (as everywhere in Switzerland). Reception rarely manned. Very good public transport connections by post bus and train.
