Everything could be discussed with Mrs. Penning in a friendly manner, be it hiking suggestions, whether fruit picking is allowed (of course, a picking basket was available). The sanitary facilities and showers were always clean and, above all, heated, and there was a shelf of honey outside the door. The pitch assigned to us was on the edge between hedges with a beautiful view towards the sunset. We really liked the authenticity of the site and felt very comfortable. You don't need more, nothing was missing. We would love to come back!NegatívumokNone for us, everything should stay as it is!!!Stay from the beginning of September to the beginning of OctoberAt CP Bergesruh, you can experience camping in peace and quiet. It's certainly secluded, but that's what makes the campsite so charming. If you're looking for peace and quiet away from the beaten track, you're in good hands here - it's actually too good to stay just one night. All shopping facilities... can be reached by car in Igensdorf, Schnaittach or Gräfenberg. The Franconian Switzerland offers enough possibilities for recreation Pottenstein/Gößweistein and many more. A very nice and well-kept site in a quiet location between Erlangen, Nuremberg and Franconian Switzerland.
Due to the good highway connection, it was also ideal for us as a stopover in the direction of the Alps.

The campsite makes a well-kept impression and the sanitary facilities are in good order. The view of the countryside is beautiful.
The tourist pitches are right at the entrance... and unfortunately we got a relatively small one, so we had to stand very close to our neighbors.
It is absolutely quiet at night. If you want, you can also use the internet, as there is no wifi. Place has rules that are not mentioned anywhere but you have to obey them. If you don't obey them you are yelled at and kicked from the camp. Some people from the camp are complaining to furious owner that makes her even more furious. Kids cannot play on the playground and being kids (a bit loud). The expectation is they should whisper.Camp unfriendly to kids and/or foreignersWe have arrived in camp around midnight and did one round in camp to find our friends.
As there were no signs it not possible to come in camp we thought this is fine. One women almost broke our car window to let us know we are not welcome and introduced us to their "rules".
So we were sleeping near... the toilets and didn't really sleep well as the place was not narrow and there was bright light from the street lamp.
In the morning the furious camp owner had come to us and yelled at us why we went through the camp at night.
There was no way to discuss with the women the situation. She didn't really speak English and her only intention was make us leave. She was even stating if we are in Germany we should speak German...
At the end this furious women charged us full price and kicked us from the kemp because we were part of bigger group that made her crazy day before.
Just to be sure - our friends came with small kids day before. Kids were playing on the playground at 7:30 PM and were "to loud" in eyes of some people in the camp. People complaining about the loud kids made the owner so furious she has said the families need to leave the kemp next day. I have never experienced such unfriendly behavior in any camp.
Conclusion: This kemp is not good for kids that want to play on kids playgrounds and/or foreigners that doesn't speak German. The owner is furious.Camping Bergesruh válaszolt July 16, 2021Dear guest,

Most of the pitches seem to be reserved for permanent campers. Day guests and those passing through stand together at the upper edge of the site with a short path to the sanitary facilities. These are spacious and very clean. The owner is very friendly and has... good tips for leisure activities.
