"Beautiful campsite around a small lake - You can easily book the campsite online, which makes the check-in formalities all the quicker. The vehicle license plate number is recorded so that the barrier opens automatically (sometimes this takes a little time, the recognition could be perfected). The site is laid out around the lake, so that many pitches have direct access to the lake, especially the permanent campers. But tourists can also swim in the lake. Fishing is not permitted. The site is ideal for exploring the city of Hanover. But other leisure activities are also possible, e.g. cycling and hiking.

" - We spent a long weekend on the site in June 2012. The sanitary facilities are still in a state of disrepair and are very reminiscent of an old barracks. There are only collective showers with no partitions, no doors and no privacy screens. No possibility to take off clothes. Some of the walls are tiled over (at the washbasins). The walls in the entire building have been repaired but have not been painted or tiled. This is simply no longer up to date. The price/performance ratio is not right here. There was also a youth soccer team on the pitch at the weekend. Mobile goals were set up between the tourist caravans (2 meters next to ours) and they trained. Our WW was hit several times, as was our satellite antenna. After the last hit on the satellite antenna, it was damaged (LNB). Fortunately, I was able to repair the damage myself due to my profession. As the guys didn't change the pitch after repeated requests, I tried to find someone responsible for the pitch. The registration desk was no longer staffed at the time, so I approached a woman behind the counter of the restaurant. After I made my request, she wordlessly pointed her finger at a man who I initially thought was a groundskeeper or something similar. As it turned out later, he probably wasn't. Because according to the operator, there is no groundsman on this pitch. In the restaurant, this gentleman was very understanding of my problem, but when we were alone, he accused me of being hostile to children. For the evening, however, the youngsters were instructed by the gentleman to stop playing. However, the next morning it continued exactly as described, whereupon we packed our things and left the pitch immediately. My conclusion: once and never again!
