Profil

The family campsite Borken am See is located at the Pröbstingsee, about 10 km from Bocholt. Here you can experience peace and quiet in nature combined with great facilities for the whole family. Ideal for children up to about 13 …years old. In addition to an extensive climbing forest and a restaurant, there are also many play opportunities for children: water playground, bouncy castle, air trampoline, curved trampoline, various playgrounds, climbing equipment, mini golf, pedal boats (about 2 km) and much more! The campsite is the ideal starting point for excursions in the surrounding area, such as the Aquarius swimming pool in Borken (approx. 4 km away), Movie Park Germany in Bottrop (approx. 39 km away), the beautiful Ketteler Hof play park in Haltern am See (approx. 35 km away) or pony rides at the pony farm in Isselburg (approx. 28 km away). Golf courses in the area can be found in Winterswijk, Ahaus, Reken, Schermbeck and Wesel. You can choose from various accommodations at Campingplatz Borken am See. Our safari tents and mobile homes with 2, 3 or even 4 bedrooms make camping even more comfortable. You have the liberating feeling of a camping (short) holiday without missing the luxury of home. Our accommodations have a fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom, toilet and a cosy covered veranda. You can even turn on the heating in the early and late season. Furthermore, there is the possibility to rent a pitch with its own sanitary facilities for a caravan, camper van or your own tent. The pitches have electricity, wifi and are equipped with private sanitary facilities. Camping Borken am See offers beautiful, spacious pitches where your pet is allowed. Discover places where you can take lovely walks, splash around in the water or watch your dog sniffing around among the trees. During the school holidays (14 July - 22 August 2025), all kinds of activities are organised, such as a mini disco, crafts, sports and games. The restaurant at Camping Borken am See has a lovely large terrace with a view of the lake. Enjoy a cappuccino or an aperitif before lunch or dinner.
