The allocated space was suitable and very quiet.
It was absolutely quiet from 11pm!
The sanitary facilities are excellent and always clean despite the crowds!...
Of course the pitch is not cheap, but the location is very good - it's the only pitch in the area far and wide, including Esslingen!

The overnight stay for 2 people including pitch costs €29. There is also a one-off connection fee of €2 for the electricity connection and €1.20 per kWh. That's actually quite hefty. The facilities, including the sanitary block, which is also well-tempered... in winter, speak in favor of the site. Everything is available, water supply and disposal, chemical toilet, garbage, washing machines, kitchen, recreation room, playground, showers (large cabins with separable anteroom), bistro, kiosk, subway station nearby, discounters and restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. If you pay attention, the B10 is a bit annoying. But I really had to pay attention to the noise. In my opinion, the operator's pricing policy is negative. The access road was a bit confusing due to some idiot's signs being pasted over, but we found it.
The reception was completely OK for me.
Explanation of what is where, bread service explained, when the kiosk is open, when the bistro... is open was explained without being asked.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the wrong place. the site is used by many as a stopover. due to the constant change of campers, there is always unrest. the pitches are completely laid out with grass pavers. a pitch structure is not recognizable. Pitches assigned to Verden as it suits. Wishes such as: like to be under trees, because of shade for the dogs. doesn't work.
Very clean sanitary facilities! No muffles. Showers, kitchen and washing machines can be used at all times.
We will come back without dogs for a stopover. The site was unsuitable for our dogs as it was too noisy. We are just dyke country bumpkins and not used to so many people and traffic.Automatikusan lefordítva. - Susannah M.June 2023PozitívumokCentrally located, easy to get to (the campsite can't help the conversion work in S), 10 min walk to public transport. (Return by cab at night for just 13 €) Depending on where you stand, the site is really quiet. The sanitary facilities are also easily accessible and are positioned so that the campers are not disturbed.NegatívumokIf grandstands etc. are set up for an event at the fairground (Wasen) next door, it is noisy from 9.00 in the morning. Anyone standing near the entrance will notice this, so book at the back of the campsite! It's quiet and shady and the nice bistro is just around the corner.City center and peace and quiet? Go!!!Arriving late: no problem, you will be told on the phone how to get in late at night. Arrive exhausted and just want a cold beer: we'll fulfill your wish.
Showering at 2.00 a.m.: everything is clean and the water is hot.
Toilets also great!
Fresh coffee in the bistro in the morning: works.
Mineral swimming... pool nearby. Wilhelma, one of the most beautiful zoos and "good" for a whole day, easy to reach. Also the city center.
Overall, the place offers everything you need for a city trip.

The reception and check-in was cool and impersonal. I was given the registration form with the comment "fill out". There was absolutely no explanation about anything, neither about the store nor about ordering bread rolls....... We... were allowed to choose a pitch and then the unfriendly guy from the registration desk came to plug in the electricity. There is a small store with the most necessary things. When we wanted to get bread rolls from the store on Sunday, we were told that they were only available if ordered in advance and not on Sundays anyway. The sanitary facilities are clean and quite ok. It is very quiet there good paved places and above all also enough space in the respective plots 30 percent of the. pitch in the shade. For those who want to camp it is rather not suitable here... max 500qm meadow directly at the bridge rather not so great. Barbecue area available as well as seating space quite large and also water connections available on each plot but the power box is far away so plan a lot of cable. Showers were OK so far not quite as I would have liked it, I waited until the cleaning boy was through for him what the phone call was more important than cleaning so not so good. The janitor is rather permanently in a bad mood and sometimes rude and also very unfriendly he should look for another job. All the other employees were great and very nice. The facility was clean and well maintained. The puplikun was rather in the age over 50 but that was great was very quiet even the whole night unauthorized have no access which I think is great. Sufficient pitches for the night active the from 22 clock the gate is closed but people access open. At night the area is quite dark and hardly lit. So I hope I could help further at the Cannstatter Wasen I will be there again. However, I will not give a rating because even the operators said exceptional condition and if you do not want to celebrate there you should rather stay away very loud all night and should probably be very chaos. Staff very, very friendly. Sufficient sanitary facilities available. Cleanliness OK, but it gets adventurous when it comes to excrement. The pitches are all covered with grass and not parceled out. Depending on the occupancy, you have more or less space.... We were lucky and found a nice pitch. Otherwise, we found the site to be very quiet and also relaxing when coming from the city. Really the only major criticism: the garbage dump. Containers all overfilled. Whether plastic or glass bottles. They should be emptied and tidied up more often.Automatikusan lefordítva.

The sanitary facilities were thoroughly cleaned every day, the buildings had just been repainted and everything else was in good condition. Fresh bread rolls were available to order every day and there is also a small store.... You could eat well in the bistro, the tenants are very nice! Point ##### Please bring this strength of character with you if you want to spend a night or a few days here - on the legendary Wasen ##### You will find a little parceled out area on grass pavers, much has patina and would like more attention... to detail. ##### However, we meet a friendly and helpful site manager. ##### A remarkable site, although the ambience is a little quirky. It is very noisy due to 2 large, directly adjacent roads - it gets even louder during events on the huge, asphalted area in front of the Cannstedter Wasen. The site is not particularly well maintained and the sanitary... facilities are very dirty for both men and women. All in all, although the site is very centrally located, the noise level, the lack of cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the concrete flair mean that it really cannot be recommended. Someone will then quickly come and plug you in. The grass pavers provide firm and level pitches. There are tall, shady trees, you just have to think about where you want to stand so that you have shade when... you want it. The sanitary facilities are fine and clean after cleaning. Cleaning is done before noon, when it is already necessary. Chemical emptying next to the toilets, very well solved. Dog is no problem. Small restaurant with a small menu not visited because my wife couldn't find anything... The surroundings are already desolate - a huge gravelled square with marquee skeletons. The approach from the south is not easy - many roadworks, some of them closed. You don't spend your vacation here, but rather see what you want to see and then drive to a quiet place. The place has a good location for Stuttgart and the surrounding area. The Wilhelma can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. The welcome is very warm, friendly and uncomplicated. The pitches are not parceled out. The layout is reminiscent of a highway parking lot... with grass pavers. However, you are immediately allocated a suitable pitch. They help you push your caravan in. Super. There are nice hidden seating areas on the pitch, but they are not maintained. There is a kiosk and you can get everything you need here. There is also a snack bar on the pitch. The showers make a good impression and are clean. My wife had no complaints about the toilets, although I didn't find the men's toilets so clean. I don't think the urinals are cleaned at all. At least during the 3 days we were there. There are a few caravans with awnings, some of which are quite battered. Most of them are occupied by campers who are not there at the weekend.
