Lots of prohibitions and rules of conduct: "Enter individually", "close doors", "registration deadline". On arrival, you just feel tolerated, but not very welcome. There are signs everywhere telling you what is forbidden and how to behave. Before you arrive, you receive an email with all the rules and prohibitions. Nothing bad and easy to implement, but other guests also found the g Atem prohibition signs "special".Very nice & clean & beautiful locationMy tip to the place: The welcome email doesn't even contain a sentence saying that they look forward to the visitor (customer) and wish them a pleasant journey. It was made clear to us what we are not allowed to do. Sönke F.August 2024Pozitívumok+ everything well-maintained and clean + quiet site + spacious pitches + professional operators + friendly and hard-working team + beautiful location + very good bicycle infrastructure + the Camperstüble!Negatívumok- it takes a bit of fitness to reach the stores or the town center on foot (but it is possible).Great, quiet campsite in a very beautiful regionWe spent our summer vacation there (16 nights) and can recommend the site 100%. Very professionally run site. Large, flat and very well-kept pitches; everything from sunny to shady. Clean and well-kept sanitary facilities in sufficient numbers (really clean!). Totally friendly and courteous operators... and staff (you can tell they enjoy their job and work as a team). I think the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair and appropriate for the site. In our opinion, the Camperstüble is one of the best restaurants on a campsite that we have seen (and we have seen quite a few).
The location of the campsite is really beautiful. You can get everywhere very easily by bike (in my opinion, there is a very good cycling infrastructure in the region!) However, a bicycle or similar is also recommended, as "just walking" to Bad Kösen is possible, but it is a short (but beautiful) walk.

Groups partied undisturbed into the night. I have never come across a place where such restrictions were imposed on dogs. The friends of drinking sports were clearly preferred.Quite a good place, but too expensive, many groups, lots of alcoholNice place with modern facilities. Good location for excursions, even by bike. Das Personal wurde sehr schlecht behandelt in unserem Beisein. Wenn man Klappwagen hat ist man nicht willkommen. Wir sind denn auch früher gegangen als geplant. Die Dame und Herr am Empfang sind ungastfrei, unfreundlich und einfach frech.UngastfreiMit Zelt ⛺ oder Klappwagen nicht hinfahren. Für Eur 45-50 pro Nacht wird viel zu viel verlangt.

The location itself is very nice, but far away from the center of Bad Kösen. It is a large, flat site with mostly well-maintained grass.
Our Comfort pitch, of all places, was not very densely overgrown with grass.
The campsite team is friendly throughout.
You can eat... quite well in the small Camperstüble on the site, but you can also relax under the parasol with a beer.
For cyclists, it is a good starting point for various day trips.
A tip: get a cycling map from the tourist information office. The owners invest every year and contribute to the well-being of the campers, e.g. with a charging station for e-bikes and much more.
The... Campingstüberl is a great place to eat and end the day.
The owners and the entire team are very friendly and make every effort to ensure campers have a great stay.

The service, cleanliness, layout/size of the pitches and the facilities are excellent and create a "feel-good atmosphere". The site is very well maintained... and is ideally located for excursions by water (canoe), by bike (via Bad Kösen along the Saale cycle path) or on foot (e.g. to Rudelsburg Castle or Saaleck Castle).
The sanitary building and the facilities in it make a well-kept/new impression and are absolutely clean "24/7".
The staff are hard-working, friendly and helpful.
Despite the nearby rail traffic, which we hardly noticed, the peace and quiet and a very pleasant "crowd" should be mentioned.
Conclusion: One of the best campsites we have visited recently.
We will gladly come back in 2024...

We had a lot of space in this very well-kept park. The peace and quiet was only disturbed from time to time by a passing train. But that wasn't a problem for us. We went cycling along the beautiful vineyards, the Saale and the Unstrut.... Many others were out and about in canoes or rubber dinghies, which are also rented out by the site operator. The new operators of the facility are friendly and helpful. Overall, you can't see the age of the resort, much of it has been renovated or renewed.

Bad Kösen is just a few minutes away. The site itself is beautifully laid out, lots of greenery, very idyllic. The sanitary facilities are super clean and tidy, the staff at reception are very friendly. Bread roll service via QR code, otherwise there is an edeka not far away. The sanitary facilities are super clean, no matter what time! The highlight was the barrel sauna, well maintained and lovingly equipped. Especially worth mentioning is the gastronomy on the premises, the farmer's breakfast... and the currywurst are a dream! The owners, the Schreiber family, were always friendly and helpful! Price and performance are right here.
The railroad line is an advantage for some and a disadvantage for others.
We enjoyed watching the different trains.

They are very responsive to guests' wishes.
The sanitary building was used in the rear area and was always perfectly cleaned. Very good hot water supply, also in the dishwashing area. The shower tokens are a bit... outdated for the price. An exchange facility for ALU gas bottles would also be desirable.
The site is an ideal starting point for both cycle tourism (e-bike recommended) and cultural tourism.
Very quiet site. Beautiful campsite with a variety of plants close to the Saale river.
In heavy rain, the ground does not absorb well at first (clay), but the water then seeps away quickly.
Convenient online ordering of home-baked, absolutely delicious bread rolls at a fair price.
The nearby Bad Kösten only offers a basic shopping infrastructure (Edeka and Nettomarkt). The Camper-Stüble offers a small but good range of food, including good pizzas to take away.

describe this campsite.
The first walk to reception,
to register, was enough
to realize full of joy:
"Yes, they're quite nice, the people."
The site -
the Saale river in front, a rock face behind it,
a playground on the edge for the children to enjoy.
The pitches are green, neatly parceled out,
and reasonably numbered, as they should be.
The paths to water and electricity are short
and once around the corner, you can already see,
one at the front entrance, the other at the back,
houses with toilets and showers.
Now, in many a review, these are called "showers",
because people groom themselves there and use the "throne",
are viewed critically and thoroughly,
because everyone pays attention to cleanliness.
Without much ado - opportune for us:
If there was anything to complain about - we would do it here!
Rather a thank you, and a big one at that,
to the ladies and gentlemen who keep it clean.
Another treasure is also worth mentioning,
the Camper-Stüble - inviting - directly on the pitch.
Always striving for the best for the customer,
the two girls do the rounds in there,
cooking at its best, serving at the table,
the atmosphere is friendly, cozy and fresh.
Well, apart from the place, there are the trappings.
Not everyone wants to do the same thing.
One person rides a bike, pedals away,
Another hikes, keeps himself busy.
A third can enjoy it in a canoe,
plowing through the water with a powerful stroke.
There really is something for everyone,
to do what they like and what comes to mind.
