- Patrick H.May 2024PozitívumokBeautiful nature, nice operator, not everything so stuffy and the priceNegatívumokThe playground is falling apart and the bridge to the beautiful island has unfortunately been broken for years.Cheap place nice operator but neglected by the communityIt's a real shame about this great place. It is being increasingly neglected by the municipality of Lembach, even though it is a goldmine.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Peter K.July 2023PozitívumokThe beautiful location with lakeNegatívumokNo small store with fresh baked goods and drinksVisit to the campsiteThe place is beautifully situated in the forest, the lake and the stream are refreshing, a pity that the place is not open all year round, here could still be changed one or the other, the new facility with the apartments will certainly be a hit, let's see how it looks next year when everything is laid out byAutomatikusan lefordítva.
- Irmgard Z.April 2022PozitívumokThe location by the lake and in the forestNegatívumokThe groundsman gave us a very unfriendly welcome. He did not allow us to visit the campsite before booking. He also criticized my knowledge of French, which I found presumptuous and hostile to German, because I had asked in a very friendly manner, which I had already read in some reviews and did not want to believe it beforehand. We drove on and cannot recommend this place. Not recommended! This place should be avoided because of the unfriendliness of German and the capriciousness of the groundsman. Unfortunately, there are still people who don't appreciate the German-French friendship. We didn't want to support that.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Stephan S.July 2021Pozitívumok- Proximity to nature - wonderful hiking trails - Wisssemburg approx. 30 min. awayNegatívumok- Background noise from the lake and sometimes from noisy vehicles in the valleyCamping in natureCampsite with a fantastic location in the Ta, below Fleckensteinl Castle. Located directly on a small lake, which is ideal for swimming in summer. Lots of beautiful hiking trails and many castle ruins in the surrounding area. When we camp there (now the third time) we always visit the town of Wissemburg... (about 30 minutes away). There are also all the important stores there. There is a small bakery in Lembach for bread and cakes.
WLAN in the reception area, cell phone network rather poor (I found it good ;))
Sanitary facilities simple, were always clean during our visit!
The site was always well attended, but never overcrowded.
Our groundsman is very nice, uncomplicated and spoke German, in conversation he told us that he has German relatives.
All in all, a beautiful site with French flair in the middle of nature
I'm looking forward to the next timeAutomatikusan lefordítva. - Silvia O.September 2018Pozitívumok- peace and quiet - beautiful surroundings - super tarte flambée on the squareNegatívumok- no cell phone reception (when needed) - not quite contemporary CP for a longer stay - no separate toiletsQuiet CP to relaxWe were only there for three days. Spacious pitches, clean sanitary facilities (no luxury, lack of storage facilities in the shower, water is warm and preset), dogs allowed, well-kept grounds, great tarte flambée on the pitch, pond with clean water (access for dogs only via the forest), great hiking... opportunities, hardly any shopping facilities. Lembach can be reached in just under four kilometers. Baquette can be pre-ordered in the main tourist season. Super nice reception, always ready to give tips.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Ralf K.August 2018Small and quiet campsite by the lakeCampsite surrounded by forest, quiet location, nice permanent campers. Very nice operator.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Elke T.August 2018Unfriendly and arrogantThe site is beautifully situated and the anticipation of being able to camp here was great ... However, we didn't feel very welcome - the reception by the staff was unfriendly and arrogant ... sometimes the "chemistry" just isn't right. We will not recommend this campsite to others.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Volker S.July 2018Pozitívumok- Quiet location - beautiful surroundings - pleasant atmosphere on the pitchNegatívumok- Little infrastructure on and around the site - no mobile radio/WLAN - many permanent camper pitchesFriendly campsite in AlsaceQuiet location on a beautiful bathing lake, very friendly, friendly groundskeeper, free choice of pitch possible, electricity connections not available everywhere (25m cable is helpful), functional and clean sanitary facilities, chemical toilet disposal possible but no emptying of gray water tank, very... quiet (no cell phone reception, no WLAN), baguettes and croissants can be pre-ordered, restaurant next to the site on the lake (good tarte flambée!), the nearest small supermarket in Lembach, otherwise larger ones about 10 - 12 km away.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Christoph M.July 2018PozitívumokNew showers. Friendly and familiar operator. Lots of nature.NegatívumokToilets very old. (Who needs it) Cell phone reception.Relaxing time outWe spent a great weekend here. The CP offers almost everything in terms of landscape, forest, mountains, lake. The reception was super friendly and informal. It is manned until 6 pm. The barrier is open even longer. The pitches were ideal for our VW Bulli so that we had enough space in front for an awning... or similar. The showers are almost new and were always clean. Toilets were also always clean, but could be renewed. You won't find cell phone reception here, but that's a plus point for us. Shopping possibility with small Proxi in Lembach (4km), larger in Wissembourg or Woerth (both approx. 12km). The small restaurant at the lake makes a great tarte flambée. A really nice and quiet place. We would love to come back.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Heike K.July 2018PozitívumokVery nice groundskeeper. Clean place... Nice people. Dogs allowed.NegatívumokIf you needed a vet on the WE. Very difficult.Very idyllic campsiteStayed here for 2 weeks. Had a great place. Very quiet. Very nice permanent camp neighbors. Sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly. Had problems with the brakes. Super workshop recommended by Pasquale. Repaired very quickly and well. Highly recommended for dogs. Have booked again for 2019.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Toni A.August 2017PozitívumokGood starting point for outdooring in northern Alsace; a few very good restaurants nearby; reasonable priceNegatívumokSomewhat basic CP; not quite up to date standardSometimes like this, sometimes like this...We spent a week at the beginning of August at the CP du Fleckenstein - unfortunately many rainy days (allegedly as much rain in one week as in the whole month of August - shit happens, and that's not the fault of the CP). The campsite has been around for a very long time. When we used to go to Fleckenstein... Castle, we often stopped off at the bistro there. Now it was time to visit it as campers. The area for the tourist campers is separated from the typical permanent campers - everything is quite rustic and without too many regulations - which is very appealing. There is a fairly large washroom and sanitary block - not 4**** star luxury, but okay, as it is usually very clean. Depending on the pitch, the distance from the electricity connection is long, either only bridgeable with a very (!) long cable or not at all, because the cable would then have to be laid across half the pitch. In this case, simply look for another pitch. The very friendly campsite warden (including baguette service) and the location should be emphasized, because from here you can go on great hiking, cycling and other excursions in northern Alsace, e.g. the four castles tour, Maginot Line, the pretty town of Wissemburg, Niederbronn with its casino and thermal baths... and of course just go for a hike or get on your bike. If you want to go out for a very good meal, then the "Chez Anthon" in Obersteinbach, the "Cheval Blanc" in Niedersteinbach and the "Cheval Blanc" in Lembach (you can get them mixed up - as we did for the very first time in the 80s) are among the places to go. For a cheap vacation with an original CP, this destination is certainly suitable - for those who want a little more luxury, you should rather look for something else. Important: LTE or 4G only work to a very limited extent - so watch out - CP du Fleckenstein is a small internet diaspora (at least in July 2017).Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Marcus B.July 2017PozitívumokBeautiful area and very friendly staff!NegatívumokVery very loud in the evening!Beautifully situated place, but!Very nice location, very friendly staff! Wonderful hiking area! But from 8 pm it is very loud, by German campers, where the children until 23.30 noise! We were ashamed as German campers and fled after 7 days! Beware of mice, even as tent campers! It would be nice if there was more consideration and respect for other campers!Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Kathrin A.August 2016PozitívumokBathing lake, friendliness, peace, idyllNegatívumoksomewhat remoteSuper nice stayA somewhat secluded campsite that is idyllic for relaxing. Some children and dogs, young people and permanent campers. Everyone is very friendly, especially the manager who is very helpful. The sanitary facilities are not a four-star hotel, but they are cleaned very often (the rest depends on the other... campers). The adjacent bathing lake can be visited by campers for a small fee. Cell phone reception is rare, but this contributes to relaxation. All in all, our stay was very pleasant and we would recommend the site at any time!Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Marion M.July 2016PozitívumokFood Rest Bathing NatureRelaxingWe came across it through a tip from friends. Since then, we've been coming here several times a year with our children. Beautiful, quiet location, delicious food, bread service, swimming lake, top sanitary facilities.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Thomas H.July 2016PozitívumokLocated next to a bathing lake. Fleckenstein Castle nearby.NegatívumokFew shady spotsFleckenstein CastleVery few shady spots, reasonable price, nearby a small restaurant with a small menu (tarte flambée, pizza),Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Frank M.June 2016PozitívumokLocation to the castles. Very friendly staff.NegatívumokThe nearest towns with shops and restaurants are four kilometers away.Simple but beautiful place in a quiet locationThe Fleckenstein campsite offers a very good starting point for hikes and visits to the surrounding castle ruins. We can particularly recommend the Four Castles Tour. The groundsman spoke German and was very friendly. He had some good recommendations for excursions and restaurants. The simple restaurant... right on the campsite offers delicious salads and good tarte flambée. The site is simply equipped but the sanitary facilities were clean. Everything was very open. Toilet paper was available, but no towels or drying facilities after hand washing. We were there in June 2016, which unfortunately started very rainy, so the pitches were quite soggy as they were unpaved. The site is located on a small lake with an island that can be used as a lovely bathing beach. Part of the lake is cordoned off for swimming. If the weather is nice, you can certainly enjoy a nice swim here.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Sigi S.May 2016PozitívumokBathing lakeNegatívumokNo cell phone receptionA paradise for childrenVery friendly and humorous groundsman. Unfortunately, we did not find any motorhome supply and disposal. The place is ok and heavily occupied by families. Hiking possibilities without end...Automatikusan lefordítva.
