- Sabine S.September 2024PozitívumokThe place is beautifully situated in the countryside on a canal, very quiet, town within walking distance. Friendly staff, bread roll service.NegatívumokThe two sanitary areas are an imposition to say the least! Dirty, old, broken... Three stars? Really not!PPlatz is very quiet and beautifully situated, sanitary an impositionThe site is in a very nice and quiet location and the town, which is well worth seeing, is within easy walking distance. The small store and the restaurant are also to be rated positively, as is the friendliness of the staff and the bread roll service. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are very... outdated, unclean and unkempt. Apparently something was repaired from time to time, but the overall impression is very poor. I didn't feel like showering there, everything is unkempt and neglected. Are they saving on staff and costs here in the off-season, even though the site was still busy at the end of September? The site does not deserve three stars, unfortunately, more could be made of it. I cannot recommend it and will not visit it again despite its good location.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Gerd F.September 2023PozitívumokVery friendly owner couple, City center can be reached on foot in 10 minutes, beautiful pitches, good value for money with the ACSI card.NegatívumokWLAN only works in the reception areaCity campsiteWe stayed at the campsite for one night with the caravan. We were last there a few years ago, in the meantime the reception and restaurant building has been rebuilt. Perhaps a new sanitary building is also planned for the future, then there will be a better overall rating.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Roswitha R.July 2023PozitívumokIdeal place to relax or exploreNegatívumok./.super-friendly operatorsWe have been here regularly since 2019. Very friendly staff, pitches are big enough for our caravan and car, sanitary building is older but clean. Lunch time from 12.00-14.00 o'clock. ACSI and ADAC cards are accepted.
Dole itself can be reached on foot in 10 minutes, you will find everything for daily use, shopping street with various stores and restaurants, cafés etc.
Suitable for relaxing as well as for exploring, the region is worth seeing.Automatikusan lefordítva. - R V.June 2023PozitívumokMooie groene plaatsen. Dicht in de buurt van het centrum van Dole.Negatívumok-Gemoedelijke campingVery nice camping nearby center of dole. Good prices. Friendly staff. Speak English and a bit German. Bread you can order by reception for the day after.
- Uta E.August 2021Pozitívumokuncomplicated reception; flat terrain; Walk to the Doubs to bathe your feet in itNegatívumokSanitary facilities simple and somewhat outdated; all garbage cans were full Access road quite narrow; little waiting space for caravans at the campsite entrance.pleasant transit station near the old townThe campsite is perfectly adequate for one or two nights.
Unfortunately, the path along the Doubs near the sports facilities is partly littered.
The old town is charming for an evening stroll.Automatikusan lefordítva. - Herbert K.September 2020PozitívumokThe situationNegatívumokThe rear sanitary building is in need of renovationToo good to stay just one nightExtremely friendly and helpful lady at reception. Spacious pitches with or without shade. Free choice of pitch. There are special pitches for bicycles and motorcyclists with tents. Well-kept grounds, nice pool, 1.5m deep. No separation by gender in the somewhat outdated sanitary building at the back.... Toilet seats and toilet paper available. The sanitary facilities are cleaned daily. Conveniently located on the Doubs, on the outskirts of Dole and on the Rhine-Rhone cycle path. Dogs are welcome, bathing facilities for dogs in the immediate vicinity. Good starting point for excursions to Dijon (approx. 50 km), Besancon (approx. 40 km), the Loue valley (approx. 30 km) or simply cycling along the Rhine-Rhone canal. Not a luxury site, but a reasonably priced site with everything you need as a camper.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Astrid T.September 2020PozitívumokVery nice campsite with tree Estonia, pool etc. Nice uncomplicated reception. Extra area for cyclists with tents.NegatívumokIn the morning, a dog had done its business on our plot.Very nice for cyclists with a tentWe are happy to recommend the campsite to others and felt very comfortable. Dole is also worth a visit.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Roswitha R.September 2019PozitívumokClose to the city, great surroundings, clean sanitary facilitiesNegatívumoknoneIdeal starting point to explore the regionSmaller parceled pitches, partly gravelled, very narrow approach and exit at approx. 100 meters, no possibility for two vehicles to pass. Bread roll service on site as well as drinks and basic foodstuffs. Very friendly lady at reception, German, English and of course French no problem. Sanitary building... at the entrance very clean, toilet paper hangs in a large roll in the corridor, not in the cabins. Second sanitary building not separated by gender. Dole is easy to reach on foot in 10-15 minutes. Dijon can be easily explored by train, return ticket p.p. 20€. You can get the key to climb the cathedral tower at the tourist office. A fantastic view. With ACSI card for 2 people, electricity, car and caravan plus tourist tax 17.20€, unbeatable!!!Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Benjamin B.July 2019Pozitívumok-Prime place for an overnight stay -Clean sanitary facilities -Friendly staffNegatívumok-Sanitary facilities a bit outdated but cleanOvernight stay in transitWe used this site in the summer for a stopover on our way through and can definitely recommend it as such. The staff were very friendly, the pitch assigned to us was easy to reach and the site is quietly located by a river. The pool is a bit small, but offered the kids a welcome cool down and there was... also a trampoline and a bouncy castle. Baguettes could be ordered for breakfast and there was also a small store and a snack bar at reception, which we didn't try. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but were always spotlessly clean. The site is ideal for a stopover, as it is also close to the highway.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Nicolas G.April 2019PozitívumokVery nice staff Location The possibility to order breadNegatívumokBed sheetVery nice campsite in a good locationWe spent two nights here in rental accommodation. The price is good in the low season, even if the furnishings weren't quite as cozy as we had hoped. The sheets are a kind of hut sleeping bag made of unpleasant material. But we didn't want to sleep without it because the blankets didn't look very inviting. Otherwise really super clean, and the showers were very warm. The campsite is right next to Dole, so you can start sightseeing straight away.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- martin o.September 2018PozitívumokNear the centerNegatívumokNoneBeautiful placeVery friendly reception multilingual very good German. Sanitary ok so far. City is within walking distance. Were there for one night in Sept.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Juergen R.May 2018Ideal for travelers passing throughWe spent a night here for the first time when we were passing through. The site is very conveniently located, as the center of Dole is within easy walking distance. The town alone is worth a visit. Obviously there are a lot of people passing through here, as the friendly and professional service at reception... suggests. The pitches are laid out very differently, so there is something to suit all needs. For example, we didn't want to park our caravan. No problem. A suitable pitch was easy to find. The sanitary facilities are not great by our standards, but they were okay and well cleaned. All in all: "always happy to return"!Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Gabriele R.October 2017PozitívumokPassage placeNegatívumokLimited suitability for longer staysOkay for a stopoverEarly Oct. with caravan and dog for two for one night. Very narrow access along the canal! Quite full due to public holiday in Germany. We were allocated a pitch in the entrance area right next to the playground and the sanitary facilities. Small pitches, ground soaked after rain, no water tapping possible... at the sanitary building, only far away. Loud chatter from tent campers until late in the evening. Very pretty surroundings with an old canal and houseboats, nice for walking dogs, beautiful view of Dole and the illuminated church. Bread roll service in the morning. Just okay for a stopover.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Richard S.September 2017Highly frequented transit area......actually a shame, because the city and the surrounding area certainly have a lot to offer. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Alfons L.September 2017PozitívumokLocationBeautifully maintained pitch in a location close to the cityPleasant, open space, beautifully maintained, centrally located in the city..also heavily frequented in the low season by travelers passing through. Nice staff, 1 sanitary block closed due to considerable defects, the 2nd sanitary block is ok, although it should be larger in terms of capacity.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Michael B.June 2017PozitívumokThe town of Dole is within walking distance.NegatívumokSanitary facilities inadequate.Worse than the good occupancy saysQuite full for the time of year, early June. Lots of mobile homes. Sanitary facilities inadequate and poorly maintained. Good access to the town of Dole. Fine for one night.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Harald C.May 2017PozitívumokVery close to the city and beautifully situatedNegatívumokunfriendly, no caravans with tandem axle.Prohibited for caravans with tandem axleThe site is beautifully situated on the banks of the Doubs and ideal for a sightseeing tour of Dole. Unfortunately, we were not allowed on the site because we were driving a trailer with a double axle and it was claimed that there was an official regulation that stipulated this in order to prevent gypsies... from using the site, as they usually came with tandem trailers. In the meantime, we knew that this claim was not true. The whole thing was communicated to us in a very dictatorial and unfriendly manner, although it has to be said that my wife speaks French very well.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Gabriele W.May 2017Pozitívumokquiet, but centralNegatívumok- No individual toilet paper in the cubicles, only one large roll in the entrance area - Space somewhat limitedBeautiful location near the old town of DoleWe stopped for a night on our way back to Germany from the south of France. The site is close to the old town of Dole, which is well worth a visit, but is very quiet. The site is well maintained, but the pitches are a bit close together.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Andreas und Petra S.May 2017PozitívumokGood location and barbecuing is allowedNegatívumokMy wife says: "little privacy because of the lack of hedges"...well.About 1200m from the market square in the old townThe site with around 120 pitches is located on a beautiful peninsula on the outskirts of Dole. The pitches are allocated, but requests are taken into account. Those who prefer it quieter are better off at the back, not only because there is a playground and pool at the front, but also because of the... parking lot in front of the campsite, which is a popular meeting place for young people in the evening. The pitches are level and mostly on firm grass, sometimes interspersed with gravel. There are, however, also gravel pitches. French is the main language spoken at reception and there is a lunch break between 12 and 2 pm, which means that new arrivals are not admitted during this time. Wifi is available free of charge about 30m from reception. The wash house, separated by gender, offers sitting toilets with glasses and paper is available in the main room. (Please do not try to fold up the glasses, they are not attached to hinges, but clipped onto the porcelain body and fly up like an ejector seat when lifted) Outside the campsite, the headland is ideal for a 15-minute walk, ideal for dog owners. In the old town of Dole there is a market on Tues., Thurs. and Sat. mornings, as well as on Fri. afternoons (if I have read this correctly).Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Petra H.May 2017Pozitívumokabsolute peaceNegatívumokThe sanitary was just French standard. It was ok but you shouldn't expect too much.Overnight stay in Dole on the way to the south of FranceWe found the site by chance via the ACSI CP guide. It is practically near the highway but absolutely quiet. A super nice little CP near the sports facilities with a view of Dole, about 5-10 minutes on foot. We felt really comfortable there. Reception very very nice, free Wifi, bread service, nicely laid out pitches, small playground. Dole is super interesting to visit. Birthplace of Luis Pasteur.Automatikusan lefordítva.
