busy and narrow places.
The site is quietly located on a road, but there is hardly any traffic, especially at night. The facilities are rather basic, but everything you need is available.
The restaurant offers... good food. You can reach the surrounding hiking trails (Rheinsteig) on foot from the campsite. Birdsong and the babbling brook greet you when you wake up in the morning. The host couple are extremely nice - as the first tent guest in mid-March, I was even given a hot tea to warm up in the morning. Otherwise, you can enjoy a tasty... and hearty meal in the restaurant in the evening. My dog Lucy was also given a very warm welcome. The owner couple are very committed and personally look after all their guests. We felt welcome and completely at ease right from the start.
The only reason we don't give the sanitary facilities... a "very good" is because part of the waste water pipe in the ladies' toilet was being repaired.
A big compliment to the owner couple, who keep the site, including the restaurant, in good condition all year round without any further support.
We would love to come back, stay healthy

Friendly welcome, nice little quiet site with a gently babbling brook. Nicely maintained grass pitches. The sanitary buildings were still closed. But there was enough water outside. The campsite is not directly on the Rhine, but it is really... very quiet and easy to walk to the town and the Rhine (approx. 800 m) either along the road or a little way through the forest. No direct shopping facilities. But we had a delicious meal in the restaurant at a reasonable price. The bread rolls were delicious and cheap. There was no direct TV reception, but there is a possibility with a cable connection, which the operator also wanted to provide us with, but we didn't need it. The free WLAN connection is very good. Quick and fast thanks to new technology. You can hike through the forest directly from the campsite on excellent paths. We and our dog felt very comfortable and welcome.Automatikusan lefordítva.

I was on the tent meadow, where tables and chairs were even provided for the campers. Not so great that the tent meadow only gets sun at the end of June from about 10:00 am.
You can easily walk (about 20 minutes) to St. Goar, but... you are still far enough away from the train, ship and car noise of the Middle Rhine Valley.
The site is small but was not fully occupied at the time with about 10 motorhomes and 2 tents. I found the one sanitary building sufficient. The sanitary facilities were older, but everything was clean and worked.
For me, the directly connected restaurant was very pleasant, where you can eat and drink well in the evening at reasonable prices and, in addition to bread service, you can even pre-order a proper breakfast.
The owner couple is very friendly, I felt very comfortable during my stay and will gladly visit the place again if another vacation on the beautiful Middle Rhine is planned.Automatikusan lefordítva.

In the old and simple sanitary building what you touched was reasonably clean, doors and walls could do with a thorough clean. My shower water drained very... badly, in my wife's shower the water of the showering cabin neighbor "flowed over", great. The home-style food was "well", we wouldn't have eaten here a second time. I received a very friendly welcome at the owner-managed site. There are two tent pitches of different sizes, some of which are furnished with a table and chairs. There are also plenty of spacious pitches for motorhomes and caravans. As... a bicycle traveler, I particularly appreciate the adjacent restaurant. The food is really good and relatively inexpensive (regional wines and home-style cooking). Breakfast, which you can put together yourself the evening before, is also available and also very reasonably priced. The site is close to the narrow Middle Rhine Valley and yet very quiet. Trains and cars do not disturb your sleep. The sanitary facilities are not quite new but are perfectly okay and clean. Although we were only there for one night....Super-friendly welcome Long site in a small valley with a stream. Well-kept grass pitches, roughly parceled out with free choice of pitches. Power distributors easy to reach and sufficiently available.... Restaurant directly on the site. Sanitary facilities older but functional and above all CLEAN. If you are looking for peace and quiet you will find it here. No railroad line and no main road nearby. Cell phone and internet, as well as satellite reception as good as impossible.
