Pure relaxation.NegatívumokThere are no complaints.Don't rush, we are in Hetzingen, the name says it all :-)We have been there several times, once with a rented camper on a pitch and now several times in a rented caravan. We are very happy that we discovered this idyllic place for ourselves and feel very comfortable every time we stay there. There is a family atmosphere, everyone is on first-name terms and... the staff are all very friendly, courteous and helpful. The sauna is absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed using it. You can really switch off from everyday life here. We always like to come back and immediately feel a little bit at home. It's great that you exist, dear Hetzinger.........

We are glad to hear that you appreciate the beautiful residential barrels on the Rur and the restaurant "Hetzinger Stüffgen". We are pleased that you have been coming to us for more than 20 years... and that you have noticed the improvements among us as new owners.
However, we are also disappointed with the points you mentioned, especially regarding the general cleaning (3/5) and the friendliness of our staff(4/5). These are important aspects for us and we will discuss this internally to ensure that we can offer our guests the best possible experience.
Regarding the safety issue with the vaulting tile; we appreciate your feedback and understand that this is important. We will contact the municipality to bring this issue to their attention.
We hope to welcome you back to our campground soon so we can discuss this review in person.

We understand your point about... the limited activities in January. It is indeed quieter at this time of year and not all leisure activities are available. Nevertheless, the Eifel has its very own charm even in winter! The unspoiled nature and peaceful atmosphere invite you to take leisurely walks, and the freshness of the cold air can be very refreshing.
Perhaps there is an opportunity to time your visit for a different season? In spring and summer, of course, many activities and events around our campsite and the Eifel National Park are in full swing again. We hope to welcome you again soon and show you the diversity and charm of our region!

Regarding your suggestion to charge a flat rate for electricity: We understand that this could be a practical option. However, we think it is fairer if each guest only pays for the electricity they actually use. In this way, it is possible to adjust the costs directly to individual consumption. This means that you and all other guests only pay for what you actually use.
This system also helps us to better control energy consumption and be more environmentally conscious - something that is close to our hearts, especially in our beautiful natural surroundings around the Eifel National Park.
