Super nice operator. The site is centrally located but very quiet. Ideal for bicycle tourists. On Friday evenings there are mussels - home-cooked.

There really aren't any. Only those who need a pool and entertainment will miss something here.
A real stroke of luck.
Found by chance. Even in the high season we found a free pitch without booking and were not disappointed. This is how a vacation in France with a motorhome works. Just let the wind take you. The site is about 400 meters from the beach, right on the cycle path. There is a small store and the prices are... okay. There are several through-houses on the site (don't forget your head torch, no light in the evening 😀)) The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean. Showers without time limit and warm, so very different from Habeck Land. In short, stop here, you won't be disappointed.

A really great place for those who can do without entertainment and a pool. On the other hand, there is free WLAN throughout the site for 23 eur per day in high season. The campsite is not in the ADAC guide, which is probably why there are hardly any Germans there. In my opinion a real insider tip. Only 200 m to the unguarded beach, see photo. The sanitary facilities are thoroughly cleaned twice a day.

What a stroke of luck that we discovered this campsite by chance after looking for a campsite that was still open after 6 pm. Check-in was possible here until 10 pm. The barrier then closes at 10.30 pm. The operator speaks English and French and is very friendly. In July and August there is also a small... supermarket open and sometimes fresh chicken and chips are available to take away at lunchtime. The site is simple but clean. Price in high season 22 EUR plus electricity flat rate 4 EUR plus visitor's tax 0.55 EUR p.p.. Washing machine and dryer available. Very quiet location, also a paradise for small children, as it is very spacious and the little ones can always ride back and forth on bicycles. Playground and table tennis available, as well as a TV room. Mobile homes can also be booked. Mainly campers from France, which was very pleasant. The walk to the beach is about 300 m (just cross the road, take a short forest path to the dune, et voilá, beach). The beach is wide and not very crowded despite the high season. The Atlantic is calm at this point, so swimming and lazing around is no problem. If you don't want to go oystering yourself, there are many oyster farms in the immediate vicinity, as well as salt ponds and vineyards. In any case, the whole island is particularly suitable for cyclists because of the many cycle paths, some of which have been newly built.
