- Lars V.September 2024Pozitívumok.Negatívumok.OK for transitWe only used this place for passing through. I wouldn't want to stay there for longer than three days. That would be too boring for me.
The staff were friendly and as it was low season, we had a free choice of pitches and peace and quiet.
In high season, the pitches behind the swimming pool are probably... very noisy.
Large supply/disposal station in the entrance area. The disposal of the chemical toilet is a bit disgusting because there is a grid in the disposal funnel. Solids that have not yet decomposed get stuck here.
The pitches are partly sloping. You can easily walk your dog along the steep coast. However, dogs are not allowed on the local beach.Automatikusan lefordítva. - Michael B.August 2019PozitívumokSea view, or on foot to the cliffs (Falaises). Close to the village for shopping. Footpath to the bay.Negatívumokpretty run downProximity to the sea is the plusThe C. is run by the HUTTOPIA camping chain. Young, inexperienced seasonal workers try to run the C. Unfortunately, there is a lack of experience and interest in maintaining and improving the infrastructure. The sanitary facilities are run-down, the power connections are shaky and the access roads are dusty. The price-performance ratio is not right. For HUTTOPIA, this is an investment. Only a handful of pitches have a sea view.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Michael M.August 2019Beautifully situated, quiet campsiteThe site is located on the edge of a small and unspectacular village and is well suited for all types of camping. The sanitary facilities are a little dated, but clean. The site is on the edge of the beautiful cliffs. Just a few steps away there is an impressive view and, weather permitting, the sunset is fascinating. The site is well looked after by friendly staff. There is no need to pay the €15 fee for online reservations.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Mathias H.July 2019Pozitívumok- great cliffsNegatívumok- 15€ reservation fee - Sanitary area - altogether unkemptpoorWe were disappointed. 15 € fee for booking by phone (with credit card details) - cheeky. Sea view (without coast or beach) only from very few places. Sanitary area old and not particularly clean (permanent stench), standing toilets available. The whole complex makes an unkempt impression.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Christoph B.September 2016PozitívumokLocation and priceNegatívumokSanitary buildingBeautifully situated place with unfortunately outdated sanitary facilitiesThe location of the site, above the cliffs, is very beautiful. Depending on the pitch, you also have a sea view. Unfortunately, the sanitary building is not up to date and is in need of renovation, but it is clean. The village itself has a bakery and there is a small store where you can buy the essentials. Etretat and the chalk cliffs can be easily visited from here.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Peter Z.August 2013To visit the chalk cliffs near Etretat, we actually wanted to visit a campsite near Fécamp, but it was full and so we were "sent" to this site. But it was OK, we were able to visit Etretat on a day trip (the place is very crowded in the high season) and the chalk cliffs and the beach at Saint-Pierre-en-Port... are also worth seeing and, above all, much less crowded. You can get to the beach from the campsite via a steep, small road, but at least you can get there by car and park for free. The campsite has good sanitary facilities (no standing toilets ;)), spacious pitches and the owner couple are really nice and helpful. However, you should be able to speak some French, otherwise you'll have to use your hands and feet to communicate.Automatikusan lefordítva.
